1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:1 And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh: for I have made his heart and the hearts of his servants hard, so that I may let my signs be seen among them:1 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 바로에게로 들어가라 내가 그의 마음과 그 신하들의 마음을 완강케 함은 나의 표징을 그들 중에 보이기 위함이며
2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.2 And so that you may be able to give to your son and to your son's son the story of my wonders in Egypt, and the signs which I have done among them; so that you may see that I am the Lord.2 너로 내가 애굽에서 행한 일들 곧 내가 그 가운데서 행한 표징을 네 아들과 네 자손의 귀에 전하게 하려 함이라 너희가 나를 여호와인줄 알리라
3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.3 Then Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: How long will you be lifted up in your pride before me? let my people go so that they may give me worship.3 모세와 아론이 바로에게 들어가서 그에게 이르되 히브리 사람의 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 네가 어느 때까지 내 앞에 겸비치 아니하겠느냐 내 백성을 보내라 그들이 나를 섬길 것이라
4 Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:4 For if you will not let my people go, tomorrow I will send locusts into your land:4 네가 만일 내 백성 보내기를 거절하면 내일 내가 메뚜기로 네 경내에 들어가게 하리니
5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:5 And the face of the earth will be covered with them, so that you will not be able to see the earth: and they will be the destruction of everything which up to now has not been damaged, everything which was not crushed by the ice-storm, and every tree still living in your fields.5 메뚜기가 지면을 덮어서 사람이 땅을 볼 수 없을 것이라 메뚜기가 네게 남은 그것 곧 우박을 면하고 남은 것을 먹으며 들에 너희를 위하여 자라는 모든 나무를 먹을 것이며
6 And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.6 And your houses will be full of them, and the houses of your servants and of all the Egyptians; it will be worse than anything your fathers have seen or their fathers, from the day when they were living on the earth till this day. And so he went out from Pharaoh.6 또 네 집들과 네 모든 신하의 집들과 모든 애굽 사람의 집들에 가득하리니 이는 네 아비와 네 조상이 세상에 있어 옴으로 오늘까지 보지 못하였던 것이리라 하셨다 하고 돌이켜 바로에게서 나오니
7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?7 And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long is this man to be the cause of evil to us? let the men go so that they may give worship to the Lord their God: are you not awake to Egypt's danger?7 바로의 신하들이 그에게 고하되 어느 때까지 이 사람이 우리의 함정이 되리이까 그 사람들을 보내어 그 하나님 여호와를 섬기게 하소서 왕은 아직도 애굽이 망한 줄을 알지 못하시나이까 하고
8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?8 Then Moses and Aaron came in again before Pharaoh: and he said to them, Go and give worship to the Lord your God: but which of you are going?8 모세와 아론을 바로에게로 다시 데려오니 바로가 그들에게 이르되 가서 너희 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 갈 자는 누구 누구뇨
9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds; for we are to keep a feast to the Lord.9 모세가 가로되 우리가 여호와 앞에 절기를 지킬것인즉 우리가 남녀 노소와 우양을 데리고 가겠나이다
10 And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.10 And he said to them, May the Lord be with you, if I will let you and your little ones go! take care, for your purpose clearly is evil.10 바로가 그들에게 이르되 내가 너희와 너희 어린 것들을 보내면 여호와를 너희와 함께하게 함과 일반이니라 삼갈찌어다 너희 경영이 악하니라
11 Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.11 Not so; but let your males go and give worship to the Lord, as your desire is. This he said, driving them out from before him.11 그는 불가하니 너희 남정만 가서 여호와를 섬기라 이것이 너희의 구하는 바니라 이에 그들이 바로 앞에서 쫓겨나니라
12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.12 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out over the land of Egypt so that the locusts may come up on the land for the destruction of every green plant in the land, even everything untouched by the ice-storm.12 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 네 손을 애굽 땅 위에 들어 메뚜기로 애굽 땅에 올라와서 우박에 상하지 아니한 밭의 모든 채소를 먹게 하라
13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.13 And Moses' rod was stretched out over the land of Egypt, and the Lord sent an east wind over the land all that day and all the night; and in the morning the locusts came up with the east wind.13 모세가 애굽 땅 위에 그 지팡이를 들매 여호와께서 동풍을 일으켜 온 낮과 온 밤에 불게 하시니 아침에 미쳐 동풍이 메뚜기를 불어 들인지라
14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, resting on every part of the land, in very great numbers; such an army of locusts had never been seen before, and never will be again.14 메뚜기가 애굽 온 땅에 이르러 그 사방에 내리매 그 해가 심하니 이런 메뚜기는 전에도 없었고 후에도 없을러라
15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.15 For all the face of the earth was covered with them, so that the land was black; and every green plant and all the fruit of the trees which was untouched by the ice-storm they took for food: not one green thing, no plant or tree, was to be seen in all the land of Egypt.15 메뚜기가 온 지면에 덮여 날으매 땅이 어둡게 되었고 메뚜기가 우박에 상하지 아니한 밭의 채소와 나무 열매를 다 먹었으므로 애굽 전경에 나무나 밭의 채소나 푸른것은 남지 아니하였더라
16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.16 Then Pharaoh quickly sent for Moses and Aaron, and said, I have done evil against the Lord your God and against you.16 바로가 모세와 아론을 급히 불러서 이르되 내가 너희 하나님 여호와와 너희에게 득죄하였으니
17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.17 Let me now have forgiveness for my sin this time only, and make prayer to the Lord your God that he will take away from me this death only.17 청컨대 나의 죄를 이번만 용서하고 너희 하나님 여호와께 구하여 이 죽음만을 내게서 떠나게 하라
18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD.18 So he went out from Pharaoh and made prayer to the Lord.18 그가 바로에게서 나가서 여호와께 구하매
19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.19 And the Lord sent a very strong west wind, which took up the locusts, driving them into the Red Sea; not one locust was to be seen in any part of Egypt.19 여호와께서 돌이켜 강렬한 서풍이 불게 하사 메뚜기를 홍해에 몰아 넣으시니 애굽 온 지경에 메뚜기가 하나도 남지 아니하니라
20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.20 But the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go.20 그러나 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 강퍅케 하셨으므로 이스라엘 자손을 보내지 아니하였더라
21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.21 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out to heaven, and all the land of Egypt will be dark, so that men will be feeling their way about in the dark.21 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 하늘을 향하여 네 손을 들어서 애굽 땅 위에 흑암이 있게 하라 곧 더듬을만한 흑암이리라
22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:22 And when Moses' hand was stretched out, dark night came over all the land of Egypt for three days;22 모세가 하늘을 향하여 손을 들매 캄캄한 흑암이 삼일 동안 애굽 온 땅에 있어서
23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.23 They were not able to see one another, and no one got up from his place for three days: but where the children of Israel were living it was light.23 그 동안은 사람 사람이 서로 볼 수 없으며 자기 처소에서 일어나는 자가 없으되 이스라엘 자손의 거하는 곳에는 광명이 있었더라
24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.24 Then Pharaoh sent for Moses, and said, Go and give worship to the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be kept here: your little ones may go with you.24 바로가 모세를 불러서 이르되 너희는 가서 여호와를 섬기되 너희 양과 소는 머물러 두고 너희 어린 것은 너희와 함께 갈찌니라
25 And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.25 But Moses said, You will have to let us take burned offerings to put before the Lord our God.25 모세가 가로되 왕이라도 우리 하나님 여호와께 드릴 희생과 번제물을 우리에게 주어야 하겠고
26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.26 So our cattle will have to go with us, not one may be kept back; for they are needed for the worship of the Lord our God; we have no knowledge what offering we have to give till we come to the place.26 우리의 생축도 우리와 함께 가고 한 마리도 남길 수 없으니 이는 우리가 그 중에서 취하여 우리 하나님 여호와를 섬길 것임이며 또 우리가 거기 이르기까지는 어떤 것으로 여호와를 섬길는지 알지 못함이니이다 하나
27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.27 But the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he would not let them go.27 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 강퍅케 하셨으므로 그들을 보내기를 즐겨 아니하고
28 And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.28 And Pharaoh said to him, Go away from me, take care that you come not again before me; for the day when you see my face again will be your last.28 모세에게 이르되 너는 나를 떠나가고 스스로 삼가 다시 내 얼굴을 보지 말라 내 얼굴을 보는 날에는 죽으리라
29 And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.29 And Moses said, You say truly; I will not see your face again.29 모세가 가로되 왕의 말씀이 옳으니이다 내가 다시는 왕의 얼굴을 보지 아니하리이다
