1 And the kingAhasueruslaid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.
1 And King Ahasuerus put a tax on the land and on the islands of the sea.
1 아하수에로왕이 그 본토와 바다 섬들로 공을 바치게 하였더라
2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the kingadvanced him, are they not written in the book of the chroniclesof the kings of Media and Persia?
2 And all his acts of power and his great strength and the full story of the high place which the king gave Mordecai, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Media and Persia?
2 왕의 능력의 모든 행적과 모르드개를 높여 존귀케 한 사적이 메대와 바사 열왕의 일기에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
3 For Mordecai the Jewwasnext unto kingAhasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speakingpeace to all his seed.
3 For Mordecai the Jew was second only to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and respected by the body of his countrymen; working for the good of his people, and saying words of peace to all his seed.
3 유다인 모르드개가 아하수에로왕의 다음이 되고 유다인 중에 존대하여 그 허다한 형제에게 굄을 받고 그 백성의 이익을 도모하며 그 모든 종족을 안위하였더라
