1 Now these are the orders and the laws and the decisions which the Lord your God gave me for your teaching, so that you might do them in the land of your heritage to which you are going:

3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to doit; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increasemightily, as the LORDGod of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.[x]MKJV: Then hear, O, Israel, and be careful to [do] it, so that it may be well with you, and that you may greatly multiply, as the LORD God of our fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey. 4 Give ear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord:

12Thenbeware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.[x]MKJV: you shall be on guard lest you forget the LORD who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves. 25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all thesecommandmentsbefore the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.[x]MKJV: And if we are careful to do all this commandment before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us, it shall be our righteousness. BBE: And it will be our righteousness if we take care to keep all this order before the Lord our God as he has given it to us.
