1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over againstJericho. 1 And Moses went up from the table-lands of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah which is facing Jericho. And the Lord let him see all the land, the land of Gilead as far as Dan;

4 And the LORDsaid unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to seeit with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to him, This [is] the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed. I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there. 4 And the Lord said to him, This is the land about which I made an oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed: now I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not go in there.

7 And Moseswas an hundred and twentyyearsold when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural forceabated.[x]MKJV: And Moses [was] a hundred and twenty years old when he died. 8 For thirty days the children of Israel were weeping for Moses in the table-lands of Moab, till the days of weeping and sorrow for Moses were ended.

9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israelhearkened unto him, and did as the LORDcommandedMoses.[x]MKJV: And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. And the sons of Israel listened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses. 10 And there arose not a prophetsince in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORDknewface to face,[x]MKJV: And never since has a prophet like Moses arisen in Israel, whom the LORD knew face to face, BBE: There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord had knowledge of face to face; KAV: ¶ 그 뒤로는 이스라엘에서 모세와 같은 대언자가 일어나지 아니하였나니 그는 {주}께서 얼굴을 마주 대하여 아시던 자더라. 10 There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord had knowledge of face to face;
