1Now there werein the church that wasatAntiochcertainprophetsandteachers; asBarnabas, andSimeon that was calledNiger, andLucius of Cyrene, andManaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, andSaul.
1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church there, prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Symeon who was named Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, a relation of Herod the king, and Saul.

2Astheyministered to the Lord, andfasted, the HolyGhostsaidㆍ, SeparatemeㆍBarnabasandSaulfor the workwhereunto I have calledthem.
2 And while they were doing the Lord's work, and going without food, the Holy Spirit said, Let Barnabas and Saul be given to me for the special work for which they have been marked out by me.
2 주를 섬겨 금식할 때에 성령이 가라사대 내가 불러 시키는 일을 위하여 바나바와 사울을 따로 세우라 하시니
4Soㆍthey, being sent forthby the HolyGhost, departeduntoSeleucia; and fromthence they sailedtoCyprus.
4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia; and from there they went by ship to Cyprus.
4 두 사람이 성령의 보내심을 받아 실루기아에 내려가 거기서 배 타고 구브로에 가서

7Whichwaswith the deputy of the country, SergiusPaulus, a prudentman; whocalled for BarnabasandSaul, and desired to hear the word of God.
7 Who was with the ruler, Sergius Paulus, an able man. This man sent for Barnabas and Saul, desiring to have knowledge of the word of God.

8 But Elymas, the wonder-worker (for that is the sense of his name), put himself against them, with the purpose of turning the ruler from the faith.

10 가로되 모든 궤계와 악행이 가득한 자요 마귀의 자식이요 모든 의의 원수여 주의 바른 길을 굽게 하기를 그치지 아니하겠느냐
11Andnow, behold, the hand of the Lordisuponthee, and thou shalt beblind, notseeing the sunfor a season. Andimmediately there fellonhim a mistand a darkness; and he went aboutseeking some to lead him by the hand.
11 And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.
11 보라 이제 주의 손이 네 위에 있으니 네가 소경이 되어 얼마 동안 해를 보지 못하리라 하니 즉시 안개와 어두움이 그를 덮어 인도할 사람을 두루 구하는지라

17 The God of thispeople of Israelchoseourfathers, andexalted the peoplewhen they dwelt as strangersin the land of Egypt, andwith an higharm brought hethem out ofit.
17 The God of this people Israel made selection of our fathers, lifting the people up from their low condition when they were living in the land of Egypt, and with a strong arm took them out of it.
17 이 이스라엘 백성의 하나님이 우리 조상들을 택하시고 애굽 땅에서 나그네 된 그 백성을 높여 큰 권능으로 인도하여 내사
19And when he had destroyedsevennationsin the land of Chanaan, he dividedtheirland to them by lot.
19 And having put to destruction seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them the land for their heritage for about four hundred and fifty years.
19 가나안 땅 일곱 족속을 멸하사 그 땅을 기업으로 주시고(약 사백 오십 년간)

24 When John had first preachedbeforehiscomingthebaptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
24 For whose coming John made ready the way by preaching to all the people of Israel the baptism which goes with a change of heart.
24 그 오시는 앞에 요한이 먼저 회개의 세례를 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 전파하니라

27 For the men of Jerusalem and their rulers, having no knowledge of him, or of the sayings of the prophets which come to their ears every Sabbath day, gave effect to them by judging him.

28And though they foundnocause of deathin him, yet desired theyPilate that he should be slain.
28 And though no cause of death was seen in him, they made a request to Pilate that he might be put to death.

37 But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.

42And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentilesbesought that thesewords might be preached to themthenextsabbath.

44And the next sabbath daycamealmost the wholecitytogether to hear the word of God.
44 And on the Sabbath after, almost all the town came together to give hearing to the word of God.

46ThenPaulandBarnabas waxed bold, and said, It wasnecessary that the word of Godshouldfirst have been spoken to you: butseeing ye putit from you, andjudgeyourselvesunworthyofeverlastinglife, lo, we turnto the Gentiles.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas without fear said, It was necessary for the word of God to be given to you first; but because you will have nothing to do with it, and have no desire for eternal life, it will now be offered to the Gentiles.
46 바울과 바나바가 담대히 말하여 가로되 하나님의 말씀을 마땅히 먼저 너희에게 전할 것이로되 너희가 버리고 영생 얻음에 합당치 않은 자로 자처하기로 우리가 이방인에게로 향하노라
47Forsohath the Lordcommandedus, saying, I have setthee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest beforsalvationunto the ends of the earth.
47 For so the Lord has given us orders, saying, I have given you for a light to the Gentiles so that you may be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
47 주께서 이같이 우리를 명하시되 내가 너를 이방의 빛을 삼아 너로 땅 끝까지 구원하게 하리라 하셨느니라 하니
49And the word of the Lord was publishedthroughoutall the region.
