1 And Elisha the prophetcalledone of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:[x]MKJV: And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Bind up your loins and take this box of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth in Gilead. BBE: And Elisha the prophet sent for one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Make yourself ready for a journey, and take this bottle of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead. KAV: 대언자 엘리사가 대언자들의 아이들 중에서 한 사람을 불러 그에게 이르되, 허리를 동이고 이 기름 상자를 손에 가지고 라못길르앗으로 가라.
1 And Elisha the prophet sent for one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Make yourself ready for a journey, and take this bottle of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
1 선지자 엘리사가 선지자의 생도 중 하나를 불러 이르되 너는 허리를 동이고 이 기름병을 손에 가지고 길르앗 라못으로 가라
2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an innerchamber;[x]MKJV: And you shall go there, and you shall see there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. And you shall go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room. BBE: And when you get there, go in search of Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi; and go in and make him get up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room. KAV: 네가 거기에 이르거든 거기서 님시의 손자요, 여호사밧의 아들인 예후를 찾아보고 안으로 들어가 그의 형제들 가운데서 그를 일어나게 한 뒤 그를 데리고 안에 있는 방으로 가서
2 And when you get there, go in search of Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi; and go in and make him get up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.
2 거기 이르거든 님시의 손자 여호사밧의 아들 예후를 찾아 들어가서 그 형제 중에서 일어나게 하고 데리고 골방으로 들어가서
3 Then take the box of oil, and pourit on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.[x]MKJV: And take the box of oil and pour [it] on his head, and say, So says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel. And you shall open the door, and flee, and shall not wait. BBE: Then take the bottle and put the oil on his head, and say, The Lord says, I have put the holy oil on you to make you king over Israel. Then, opening the door, go in flight, without waiting. KAV: 그 뒤에 기름 상자를 취해 그의 머리에 그것을 부으며 이르되, {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 네게 기름을 부어 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕으로 삼았노라, 하고 그 뒤에 문을 열고 도망하며 지체하지 말지니라, 하니라.
3 Then take the bottle and put the oil on his head, and say, The Lord says, I have put the holy oil on you to make you king over Israel. Then, opening the door, go in flight, without waiting.
3 기름병을 가지고 그 머리에 부으며 이르기를 여호와의 말씀이 내가 네게 기름을 부어 이스라엘 왕을 삼노라 하셨느니라 하고 곧 문을 열고 도망하되 지체치 말찌니라
4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.[x]MKJV: And the young man went, the servant of the prophet, [to] Ramoth in Gilead. BBE: So the young prophet went to Ramoth-gilead. KAV: ¶ 이에 그 청년 곧 청년 대언자가 라못길르앗으로 가니라.
4 So the young prophet went to Ramoth-gilead.
4 그 소년 곧 소년 선지자가 드디어 길르앗 라못으로 가니라
5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the hostweresitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehusaid, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.[x]MKJV: And [he] came in, and, behold, the commanders of the army [were] sitting. And he said, I have an errand to you, commander. And Jehu said, To which of all of us? And he said, To you, commander. BBE: And when he came, he saw the captains of the army seated together; and he said, I have something to say to you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us? And he said, To you, O captain. KAV: 그가 이르렀는데, 보라, 군대의 대장들이 앉아 있으므로 그 청년이 이르되, 오 대장이여, 내가 당신에게 용건이 있나이다, 하매 예후가 이르되, 우리 모든 사람 가운데 누구에게 있느냐? 하니 그가 이르되, 오 대장이여, 당신에게 있나이다, 하매
5 And when he came, he saw the captains of the army seated together; and he said, I have something to say to you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us? And he said, To you, O captain.
5 저가 이르러 보니 군대 장관들이 앉았는지라 소년이 가로되 장관이여 내가 당신에게 할 말씀이 있나이다 예후가 가로되 우리 모든 사람 중에 뉘게 하려느냐 가로되 장관이여 당신에게니이다
6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORDGod of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.[x]MKJV: And he arose and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head and said to him, So says Jehovah God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel. BBE: And he got up and went into the house; then he put the holy oil on his head and said to him, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, I have made you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel. KAV: 예후가 일어나 집으로 들어간즉 그 청년이 그의 머리에 기름을 부으며 그에게 이르되, {주} 이스라엘의 [하나님]이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 네게 기름을 부어 {주}의 백성 곧 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕으로 삼았노니
6 And he got up and went into the house; then he put the holy oil on his head and said to him, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, I have made you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.
6 예후가 일어나 집으로 들어가니 소년이 그 머리에 기름을 부으며 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 내가 네게 기름을 부어 여호와의 백성 곧 이스라엘의 왕을 삼노니
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.[x]MKJV: And you shall strike the house of Ahab your master, so that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD at the hand of Jezebel. BBE: You are to see that the family of Ahab your master is cut off, so that I may take from Jezebel payment for the blood of my servants the prophets, and for the blood of all the servants of the Lord. KAV: 너는 네 주인 아합의 집을 치라. 이로써 내가 내 종들 곧 대언자들의 피와 {주}의 모든 종들의 피에 대한 원수를 이세벨의 손에 갚으려 하노라.
7 You are to see that the family of Ahab your master is cut off, so that I may take from Jezebel payment for the blood of my servants the prophets, and for the blood of all the servants of the Lord.
7 너는 네 주 아합의 집을 치라 내가 나의 종 곧 선지자들의 피와 여호와의 종들의 피를 이세벨에게 갚아주리라
8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:[x]MKJV: For the whole house of Ahab shall perish. And I will cut off from Ahab everyone that urinates against the wall, both bound and free. BBE: For the family of Ahab will come to an end; every male of Ahab's family will be cut off, he who is shut up and he who goes free in Israel. KAV: 아합의 온 집이 멸망하리니 내가 담에다 소변보는 자와 이스라엘 안에 갇힌 자나 남은 자를 아합에게서 끊어 버리되
8 For the family of Ahab will come to an end; every male of Ahab's family will be cut off, he who is shut up and he who goes free in Israel.
8 아합의 온 집이 멸망하리니 이스라엘 중에 매인 자나 놓인 자나 아합에게 속한 모든 남자는 내가 다 멸절하되
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:[x]MKJV: And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah. BBE: I will make the family of Ahab like that of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and Baasha, the son of Ahijah. KAV: 아합의 집을 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 집과 같게 하며 또 아히야의 아들 바아사의 집과 같게 하리라.
9 I will make the family of Ahab like that of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and Baasha, the son of Ahijah.
9 아합의 집을 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 집과 같게 하며 또 아히야의 아들 바아사의 집과 같게 할찌라
10 And the dogs shall eatJezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to buryher. And he opened the door, and fled.[x]MKJV: And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in a part of Jezreel, and none [shall be there] to bury [her]. And he opened the door and fled. BBE: And Jezebel will become food for the dogs in the heritage of Jezreel, and there will be no one to put her body into the earth. Then, opening the door, he went in flight. KAV: 예스르엘에 속한 그 상속물 땅에서 개들이 이세벨을 먹으리니 그녀를 묻을 사람이 아무도 없으리라, 하고 곧 문을 열고 도망하니라.
10 And Jezebel will become food for the dogs in the heritage of Jezreel, and there will be no one to put her body into the earth. Then, opening the door, he went in flight.
10 이스르엘 지방에서 개들이 이세벨을 먹으리니 저를 장사할 사람이 없으리라 하셨느니라 하고 곧 문을 열고 도망하니라
11 Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and onesaid unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this madfellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.[x]MKJV: And Jehu went out to the servants of his lord. And [one] said to him, Well? Why did this mad man come to you? And he said to them, You know the man and what he had to say. BBE: Then Jehu came out again to the servants of his lord, and one said to him, Is all well? why did this man, who is off his head, come to you? And he said to them, You have knowledge of the man and of his talk. KAV: ¶ 그때에 예후가 나가서 자기 주(主)의 신하들에게 이르매 한 사람이 그에게 이르되, 다 평안하냐? 이 미친 자가 무슨 까닭으로 그대에게 왔느냐? 하니 그가 그들에게 이르되, 그대들이 그 사람과 그가 전한 것을 아느니라, 하매
11 Then Jehu came out again to the servants of his lord, and one said to him, Is all well? why did this man, who is off his head, come to you? And he said to them, You have knowledge of the man and of his talk.
11 예후가 나와서 그 주의 신복들에게 이르니 한 사람이 묻되 평안이뇨 그 미친 자가 무슨 까닭으로 그대에게 왔더뇨 대답하되 그대들이 그 사람과 그 말한 것을 알리라
12 And they said, It isfalse; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.[x]MKJV: And they said, [It is] false. Tell us now! And he said, This and this he spoke to me, saying, So says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel. BBE: And they said, That is not true; now give us his story. Then he said, This is what he said to me: The Lord says, I have made you king over Israel. KAV: 그들이 이르되, 그렇지 아니하니라. 이제 우리에게 고하라, 하니 그가 이르되, 그가 이렇게 이렇게 내게 말하여 이르기를, {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 네게 기름을 부어 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕으로 삼았노라, 하더라.
12 And they said, That is not true; now give us his story. Then he said, This is what he said to me: The Lord says, I have made you king over Israel.
12 무리가 가로되 당치 않은 말이라 그대는 우리에게 이르라 대답하되 저가 이리 이리 내게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀이 내가 네게 기름을 부어 이스라엘 왕을 삼는다 하셨다 하더라
13 Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and putit under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.[x]MKJV: And they hurried and each man took his garment and put [it] under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king. BBE: Then straight away everyone took his robe and put it under him on the top of the steps, and, sounding the horn, they said, Jehu is king. KAV: 이에 그들이 각각 급히 자기 옷을 취하여 계단의 꼭대기에 곧 예후의 밑에 깔고 나팔을 불며 이르되, 예후는 왕이라, 하니라.
13 Then straight away everyone took his robe and put it under him on the top of the steps, and, sounding the horn, they said, Jehu is king.
13 무리가 각각 자기의 옷을 급히 취하여 섬돌 위 곧 예후의 밑에 깔고 나팔을 불며 가로되 예후는 왕이라 하니라
14 So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshiconspired against Joram. (Now Joram had keptRamothgileadㆍ, he and all Israel, because of Hazaelking of Syria.[x]MKJV: And Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi plotted against Jehoram. And Jehoram was keeping [watch at] Ramoth in Gilead, he and all Israel before Hazael king, of Syria. BBE: So Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, made designs against Joram. (Now Joram and all the army of Israel were keeping watch on Ramoth-gilead because of Hazael, king of Aram: KAV: 이와 같이 님시의 손자요, 여호사밧의 아들인 예후가 요람을 대적하여 음모를 꾸미니라. (이제 요람과 온 이스라엘이 시리아 왕 하사엘로 인하여 라못길르앗을 지켰으나
14 So Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, made designs against Joram. (Now Joram and all the army of Israel were keeping watch on Ramoth-gilead because of Hazael, king of Aram:
14 이에 님시의 손자 여호사밧의 아들 예후가 요람을 배반하였으니 곧 요람이 온 이스라엘로 더불어 아람 왕 하사엘을 인하여 길르앗 라못을 지키다가
15 But kingJoram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazaelking of Syria.) And Jehusaid, If it be your minds, then let none go forthnorescape out of the city to go to tellit in Jezreel.[x]MKJV: And king Jehoram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him when he fought with Hazael the king of Syria. And Jehu said, If it is your minds, [then] let no escapee leave to go to tell [it] in Jezreel. BBE: But King Joram had gone back to Jezreel to get well from the wounds which the Aramaeans had given him when he was fighting against Hazael, king of Aram.) And Jehu said, If this is your purpose, then let no one get away and go out of the town to give news of it in Jezreel. KAV: 요람 왕이 시리아 왕 하사엘과 싸울 때에 시리아 사람들이 입힌 상처를 치료받으려고 예스르엘로 돌아왔더라.) 예후가 이르되, 너희 마음이 그러하거든 한 사람이라도 이 도시에서 나가거나 도망하여 그것을 예스르엘에 알리러 가지 못하게 하라, 하니라.
15 But King Joram had gone back to Jezreel to get well from the wounds which the Aramaeans had given him when he was fighting against Hazael, king of Aram.) And Jehu said, If this is your purpose, then let no one get away and go out of the town to give news of it in Jezreel.
15 아람 왕 하사엘로 더불어 싸울 때에 아람 사람에게 상한 것을 치료하려 하여 이스르엘로 돌아왔던 때라 예후가 이르되 너희 뜻에 합당하거든 한 사람이라도 이 성에서 도망하여 이스르엘에 전하러 가지 못하게 하라 하니라
16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joramlay there. And Ahaziahking of Judah was come down to seeJoram.[x]MKJV: And Jehu rode in the chariot and went to Jezreel. For Jehoram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Jehoram. BBE: So Jehu got into his carriage and went to Jezreel, for Joram was ill in bed there; and Ahaziah, king of Judah, had come down to see Joram. KAV: 이에 예후가 병거를 타고 예스르엘로 가니 요람이 거기에 누웠더라. 유다 왕 아하시야가 요람을 보려고 내려 왔더라.
16 So Jehu got into his carriage and went to Jezreel, for Joram was ill in bed there; and Ahaziah, king of Judah, had come down to see Joram.
16 예후가 병거를 타고 이스르엘로 가니 요람이 거기 누웠음이라 유다 왕 아하시야는 요람을 보러 내려왔더라
17 And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joramsaid, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is itpeace?[x]MKJV: And a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel. And [he] saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Jehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meet them, and let him say, [Is it] peace? BBE: And the watchman on the tower in Jezreel saw Jehu and his band coming, and said, I see a band of people. And Joram said, Send out a horseman to them, and let him say, Is it peace? KAV: 예스르엘 망대에 파수꾼 하나가 섰더라. 예후가 올 때에 그가 그의 무리를 살펴보고 이르되, 내가 한 무리를 보나이다, 하매 요람이 이르되, 기병 하나를 취하여 보내고 그들을 맞이하게 하며 말하기를, 평안하냐? 하게 하라, 하니
17 And the watchman on the tower in Jezreel saw Jehu and his band coming, and said, I see a band of people. And Joram said, Send out a horseman to them, and let him say, Is it peace?
17 이스르엘 망대에 파숫군 하나가 섰더니 예후의 무리의 오는 것을 보고 가로되 내가 한 무리를 보나이다 요람이 가로되 한 사람을 말을 태워 보내어 맞아 평안이냐 묻게 하라
18 So there went one on horsebackㆍ to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is itpeace? And Jehusaid, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchmantold, saying, The messengercame to them, but he cometh not again.[x]MKJV: And the rider on horseback went to meet him and said, So says the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What do you [have to do] with peace? Turn behind me! And the watchman reported, saying, The messenger came to them, but he does not come again. BBE: So a horseman went out to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? come after me. And the watchman gave them word, saying, The horseman went up to them, but has not come back. KAV: 이에 기병 하나가 나가서 그를 맞이하며 이르되, 왕이 말씀하시기를, 평안하냐? 하시나이다, 하매 예후가 이르되, 평안이 네게 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 너는 내 뒤로 돌이키라, 하니라. 파수꾼이 고하여 이르되, 사자가 그들에게 갔으나 돌아오지 아니하나이다, 하므로
18 So a horseman went out to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? come after me. And the watchman gave them word, saying, The horseman went up to them, but has not come back.
18 한 사람이 말을 타고 가서 만나 가로되 왕의 말씀이 평안이냐 하시더이다 하매 예후가 가로되 평안이 네게 상관이 있느냐 내 뒤로 돌이키라 하니라 파숫군이 고하여 가로되 사자가 저희에게 갔으나 돌아오지 아니하나이다 하는지라
19 Then he sent out a second on horsebackㆍ, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is itpeace? And Jehuanswered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.[x]MKJV: And he sent a second rider on horseback, who came to them and said, So says the king, [Is it] peace? And he answered, What [do you have] to do with peace? Turn behind me! BBE: Then he sent out a second horseman, who came up to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said in answer, What have you to do with peace? come after me. KAV: 그때에 그가 두 번째 사람을 말에 태워 보내었더니 그가 그들에게 가서 이르되, 왕이 말씀하시기를, 평안하냐? 하시나이다, 하매 예후가 응답하되, 평안이 네게 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 너는 내 뒤로 돌이키라, 하니라.
19 Then he sent out a second horseman, who came up to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said in answer, What have you to do with peace? come after me.
19 다시 한 사람을 말을 태워 보내었더니 저희에게 가서 가로되 왕의 말씀이 평안이냐 하시더이다 하매 예후가 가로되 평안이 네게 상관이 있느냐 내 뒤로 돌이키라 하니라
20 And the watchmantold, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the drivingis like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he drivethfuriously.[x]MKJV: And the watchman reported, saying, He came up to them, but does not come again. And the driving [is] like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously. BBE: And the watchman gave them word, saying, He went up to them and has not come back again; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu, son of Nimshi, for he is driving violently. KAV: 파수꾼이 또 고하여 이르되, 그도 그들에게 갔으나 돌아오지 아니하거니와 병거를 모는 것이 님시의 손자 예후가 모는 것 같으니 그가 맹렬히 모나이다, 하매
20 And the watchman gave them word, saying, He went up to them and has not come back again; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu, son of Nimshi, for he is driving violently.
20 파숫군이 또 고하여 가로되 저도 저희에게까지 갔으나 돌아오지 아니하고 그 병거 모는 것이 님시의 손자 예후의 모는 것 같이 미치게 모나이다
21 And Joramsaid, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joramking of Israel and Ahaziahking of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went outagainstJehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.[x]MKJV: And Jehoram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Jehoram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his own chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth of Jezreel. BBE: Then Joram said, Make ready. So they made his carriage ready; and Joram, king of Israel, with Ahaziah, king of Judah, went out in their carriages for the purpose of meeting Jehu; and they came face to face with him at the field of Naboth the Jezreelite. KAV: 요람이 이르되, 예비하라, 하니 그들이 그의 병거를 예비하니라. 이스라엘 왕 요람과 유다 왕 아하시야가 각각 자기 병거를 타고 나아가되 예후를 향하여 나아가 예스르엘 사람 나봇의 상속물 땅에서 그를 만나매
21 Then Joram said, Make ready. So they made his carriage ready; and Joram, king of Israel, with Ahaziah, king of Judah, went out in their carriages for the purpose of meeting Jehu; and they came face to face with him at the field of Naboth the Jezreelite.
21 요람이 가로되 메우라 하매 그 병거를 메운지라 이스라엘 왕 요람과 유다 왕 아하시야가 각각 그 병거를 타고 가서 예후를 맞을쌔 이스르엘 사람 나봇의 토지에서 만나매
22 And it came to pass, when JoramsawJehu, that he said, Is itpeace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy motherJezebel and her witchcraftsare somany?[x]MKJV: And it happened when Jehoram saw Jehu, he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so] many? BBE: Now when Joram saw Jehu he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he said in answer, What peace is possible while all the land is full of the disgusting sins of your mother Jezebel, and her secret arts? KAV: 요람이 예후를 보고 이르되, 예후야, 평안하냐? 하매 그가 대답하되, 네 어머니 이세벨의 행음과 마술 행위가 이같이 많으니 무슨 평안이냐? 하매
22 Now when Joram saw Jehu he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he said in answer, What peace is possible while all the land is full of the disgusting sins of your mother Jezebel, and her secret arts?
22 요람이 예후를 보고 가로되 예후야 평안이냐 대답하되 네 어미 이세벨의 음행과 술수가 이렇게 많으니 어찌 평안이 있으랴
23 And Joramturned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There istreachery, O Ahaziah.[x]MKJV: And Jehoram turned his hands and fled and said to Ahaziah, Treachery, Ahaziah! BBE: Then Joram, turning his horses in flight, said to Ahaziah, Broken faith, O Ahaziah! KAV: 요람이 손을 돌이켜서 도망하며 아하시야에게 이르되, 오 아하시야여, 반역이로다, 하니라.
23 Then Joram, turning his horses in flight, said to Ahaziah, Broken faith, O Ahaziah!
23 요람이 곧 손을 돌이켜 도망하며 아하시야에게 이르되 아하시야여 반역이로다
24 And Jehu drew a bow with his fullstrength, and smoteJehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.[x]MKJV: And Jehu drew a bow and struck Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot. 24 Then Jehu took his bow in his hand, and with all his strength sent an arrow, wounding Joram between the arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he went down on his face in his carriage.
24 예후가 힘을 다하여 활을 당기어 요람의 두 팔 사이를 쏘니 살이 그 염통을 꿰뚫고 나오매 저가 병거 가운데 엎드러진지라
25 Then saidJehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, andcast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rodetogetherafterAhab his father, the LORDlaid this burden upon him;[x]MKJV: And he said to Bidkar his commander, Take him up [and] throw him in the portion of the field of Naboth of Jezreel. For, remember, you and I rode together after Ahab his father, and the LORD laid this burden on him. BBE: Then Jehu said to Bidkar, his captain, Take him up, and put him in the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for is not that day in your memory when you and I together on our horses were going after Ahab, his father, and the Lord put this fate on him, saying: KAV: 이에 예후가 자기의 대장 빗갈에게 이르되, 그를 취하여 예스르엘 사람 나봇의 상속물 밭에 던지라. 너는 기억하라. 이전에 너와 내가 함께 타고 그의 아버지 아합을 따랐을 때에 {주}께서 그에게 이 무거운 짐을 지게 하셨느니라.
25 Then Jehu said to Bidkar, his captain, Take him up, and put him in the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for is not that day in your memory when you and I together on our horses were going after Ahab, his father, and the Lord put this fate on him, saying:
25 예후가 그 장관 빗갈에게 이르되 그 시체를 취하여 이스르엘 사람 나봇의 밭에 던지라 네가 기억하려니와 이전에 너와 내가 함께 타고 그 아비 아합을 좇았을 때에 여호와께서 이 아래 같이 저의 일을 예언하셨느니라
26 Surely I have seenyesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore takeandcast him into the platof ground, according to the word of the LORD.[x]MKJV: Surely, yesterday I have seen the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, says the LORD, and I will repay you in this portion, says the LORD. And now, take [him] and throw him into the portion, according to the word of the LORD. BBE: I saw the blood of Naboth and of his sons yesterday; and I will give you full payment in this field, says the Lord? So now, take him and put him in this field, as the Lord said. KAV: {주}께서 이르시되, 내가 어제 분명히 나봇의 피와 그의 아들들의 피를 보았노라, 하시고 또 {주}께서 이르시되, 내가 그것을 이 땅에서 네게 갚으리라, 하시나니 그런즉 이제 {주}의 말씀대로 그를 취하여 이 땅에 던질지니라, 하니라.
26 I saw the blood of Naboth and of his sons yesterday; and I will give you full payment in this field, says the Lord? So now, take him and put him in this field, as the Lord said.
26 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 내가 어젯날에 나봇의 피와 그 아들들의 피를 분명히 보았노라 또 말씀하시기를 이 토지에서 네게 갚으리라 하셨으니 그런즉 여호와의 말씀대로 그 시체를 취하여 이 밭에 던질찌니라
27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judahsawthis, he fled by the way of the gardenhouse. And Jehufollowedafter him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.[x]MKJV: And when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw, [he] fled by the way of the garden-house. And Jehu followed after him and said, Strike him also in the chariot, at the going up to Gur, that [is near Ibleam. And [he] fled to Megiddo, and died there. BBE: Now when Ahaziah, king of Judah, saw this, he went in flight by the way of the garden house. And Jehu came after him and said, Put him to death in the same way; and they gave him a death-wound in his carriage, on the slope up to Gur, by Ibleam; and he went in flight to Megiddo, where death came to him. KAV: ¶ 그러나 유다 왕 아하시야가 이것을 보고 동산에 있던 집의 길로 도망하니 예후가 그를 쫓아가며 이르되, 그도 병거 안에서 치라, 하매 그들이 이블르암 옆의 구르로 올라가는 곳에서 그렇게 하니 그가 므깃도까지 도망하여 거기서 죽었으므로
27 Now when Ahaziah, king of Judah, saw this, he went in flight by the way of the garden house. And Jehu came after him and said, Put him to death in the same way; and they gave him a death-wound in his carriage, on the slope up to Gur, by Ibleam; and he went in flight to Megiddo, where death came to him.
27 유다 왕 아하시야가 이를 보고 동산 정자 길로 도망하니 예후가 쫓아가며 이르되 저도 병거 가운데서 죽이라 하매 이블르암 가까운 구르 비탈에서 치니 저가 므깃도까지 도망하여 거기서 죽은지라
28 And his servantscarried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of David.[x]MKJV: And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the city of David. BBE: And his servants took him in a carriage to Jerusalem, and put him into the earth with his fathers in the town of David. KAV: 그의 신하들이 그를 병거에 싣고 예루살렘에 이르러 다윗의 도시에서 그의 조상들과 함께 그의 돌무덤에 그를 묻으니라.

30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebelheardof it; and she paintedㆍ her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.[x]MKJV: And Jehu had come to Jezreel. And Jezebel heard, and had painted her face and adorned her head, and looked out at a window. BBE: And when Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel had news of it; and, painting her eyes and dressing her hair with ornaments, she put her head out of the window. KAV: ¶ 예후가 예스르엘에 이르니 이세벨이 그것을 듣고는 얼굴에 화장을 하고 머리를 꾸민 채 창에서 바라보다가
30 And when Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel had news of it; and, painting her eyes and dressing her hair with ornaments, she put her head out of the window.

31 And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, HadZimripeace, who slew his master?[x]MKJV: And Jehu came to the gate. And she said, [Was it] peace [to] Zimri the slayer of his lord? BBE: And when Jehu was coming into the town, she said, Is all well, O Zimri, taker of your master's life? KAV: 예후가 문에서 들어오매 그녀가 이르되, 자기 주인을 죽인 시므리에게 평안이 있었느냐? 하니
31 And when Jehu was coming into the town, she said, Is all well, O Zimri, taker of your master's life?

32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him twoorthreeeunuchs.[x]MKJV: And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who [is] with me? Who? And two [or] three eunuchs looked out at him. BBE: Then, looking up to the window, he said, Who is on my side, who? and two or three unsexed servants put out their heads. KAV: 예후가 얼굴을 들어 창을 향하고 이르되, 누가 내 편이냐? 누구냐? 하매 두 세 명의 내시가 예후를 내다보므로
32 Then, looking up to the window, he said, Who is on my side, who? and two or three unsexed servants put out their heads.
32 예후가 얼굴을 들어 창을 향하고 가로되 내 편이 될 자가 누구냐 누구냐 하니 두어 내시가 예후를 내다보는지라
33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.[x]MKJV: And he said, Throw her down! And they threw her down. And [some] of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses. And he trampled her. BBE: And he said, Take her and put her out of the window. So they sent her down with force, and her blood went in a shower on the wall and on the horses; and she was crushed under their feet. KAV: 그가 이르되, 그녀를 내던지라, 하니 이에 그들이 그녀를 내던지매 그녀의 피의 일부가 벽과 말들 위에 튀기더라. 예후가 그녀를 발로 밟으니라.
33 And he said, Take her and put her out of the window. So they sent her down with force, and her blood went in a shower on the wall and on the horses; and she was crushed under their feet.
33 가로되 저를 내려던지라 하니 내려던지매 그 피가 담과 말에게 뛰더라 예후가 그 시체를 밟으니라
34 And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursedwoman, and bury her: for she is a king'sdaughter.[x]MKJV: And when he had come in, he ate and drank, and said, Go, now see this cursed [woman] and bury her. For she is a king's daughter. BBE: And he came in, and took food and drink; then he said, Now see to this cursed woman, and put her body into the earth, for she is a king's daughter. KAV: 그가 들어가서 먹고 마시고 이르되, 이제 가서 이 저주받은 여인을 보고 그녀를 묻으라. 그녀는 왕의 딸이니라, 하매
34 And he came in, and took food and drink; then he said, Now see to this cursed woman, and put her body into the earth, for she is a king's daughter.
34 예후가 들어가서 먹고 마시고 가로되 가서 이 저주 받은 계집을 찾아 장사하라 저는 왕의 딸이니라 하매
35 And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of herhands.[x]MKJV: And they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of [her] hands. BBE: And they went out to put her body into the earth, but nothing of her was to be seen, only the bones of her head, and her feet, and parts of her hands. 36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spakeby his servantElijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogseat the flesh of Jezebel:[x]MKJV: And they came again and told him. And he said, [This is] the word of the LORD which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel. BBE: So they came back and gave him word of it. And he said, This is what the Lord said by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the heritage of Jezreel the flesh of Jezebel will become food for dogs; KAV: 그들이 돌아와 그에게 고하니 예후가 이르되, 이것은 {주}께서 자신의 종 디셉 사람 엘리야를 통해 말씀하신 바라. 이르시기를, 예스르엘에 속한 그 상속물 땅에서 개들이 이세벨의 살을 먹을지니라.
36 So they came back and gave him word of it. And he said, This is what the Lord said by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the heritage of Jezreel the flesh of Jezebel will become food for dogs;
36 돌아와서 고한대 예후가 가로되 이는 여호와께서 그 종 디셉 사람 엘리야로 말씀하신바라 이르시기를 이스르엘 토지에서 개들이 이세벨의 고기를 먹을찌라
37 And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This isJezebel.[x]MKJV: And the dead body of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, [so] that they shall not say, This [is] Jezebel. BBE: And the dead body of Jezebel will be like waste dropped on the face of the earth in the heritage of Jezreel; so that they will not be able to say, This is Jezebel. KAV: 이세벨의 사체가 예스르엘에 속한 그 상속물 땅에서 거름같이 밭의 표면에 있으리니 그러므로 그들이, 이것이 이세벨이라, 하지 못하리라, 하셨느니라, 하니라.
37 And the dead body of Jezebel will be like waste dropped on the face of the earth in the heritage of Jezreel; so that they will not be able to say, This is Jezebel.
37 그 시체가 이스르엘 토지에서 거름 같이 밭 면에 있으리니 이것이 이세벨이라고 가리켜 말하지 못하게 되리라 하셨느니라
