1Moreover, brethren, we doyou to wit of the grace of Godbestowedon the churches of Macedonia;

2 How thatin a greattrial of affliction the abundance of theirjoyandtheirdeeppovertyㆍaboundedunto the riches of theirliberality.
2 How while they were undergoing every sort of trouble, and were in the greatest need, they took all the greater joy in being able to give freely to the needs of others.
2 환난의 많은 시련 가운데서 저희 넘치는 기쁨과 극한 가난이 저희로 풍성한 연보를 넘치도록 하게 하였느니라

6Insomuch that wedesiredTitus, thatas he had begun, so he wouldalsofinishinyou the samegracealso.
6 So that we made a request to Titus that, as he had made a start before, so he might make this grace complete in you.
6 이러므로 우리가 디도를 권하여 너희 가운데서 시작하였은즉 이 은혜를 그대로 성취케 하라 하였노라
[x]MKJV: for us to call on Titus, that even as he began before, so he would also complete this grace to you also. 7 And that as you are full of every good thing, of faith, of the word, of knowledge, of a ready mind, and of love to us, so you may be full of this grace in the same way.
7 오직 너희는 믿음과 말과 지식과 모든 간절함과 우리를 사랑하는 이 모든 일에 풍성한것 같이 이 은혜에도 풍성하게 할찌니라
9For ye know the grace of ourLordJesusChrist, that, though he wasrich, yet foryoursakes he became poor, thatye through hispoverty might be rich.
9 For you see the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, how though he had wealth, he became poor on your account, so that through his need you might have wealth.
9 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 부요하신 자로서 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 그의 가난함을 인하여 너희로 부요케 하려 하심이니라
10AndhereinIgivemyadvice: forthis is expedient for you, who have begun before, notonly to do, butalso to be forward a yearago.
10 And in this I give my opinion: for it is to your profit, who were the first to make a start a year before, not only to do this, but to make clear that your minds were more than ready to do it.
10 이 일에 내가 뜻만 보이노니 이것은 너희에게 유익함이라 너희가 일년 전에 행하기를 먼저 시작할뿐 아니라 원하기도 하였은즉
[x]MKJV: And in this I give [my] judgment; for this is profitable for you, who began before, not only to do, but also to be willing a year ago. BBE: And in this I give my opinion: for it is to your profit, who were the first to make a start a year before, not only to do this, but to make clear that your minds were more than ready to do it. 11Nowㆍthereforeperform the doingof it;thatasthere was a readiness to will, sothere may be a performancealso out of that which ye have.
11 Then make the doing of it complete; so that as you had a ready mind, you may give effect to it as you are able.
11 이제는 행하기를 성취할찌니 마음에 원하던 것과 같이 성취하되 있는 대로 하라
[x]MKJV: But now also finish the doing [of it], so that, as [there was] a readiness to will, so also the finishing, [giving] out of [what] you have. BBE: Then make the doing of it complete; so that as you had a ready mind, you may give effect to it as you are able. KAV: 그러므로 이제는 그것을 행하여 완수하라. 이미 하려고 준비되어 있은즉 너희가 가진 것으로 완수할지니라.
12For if there be first a willing mind, it isaccepted according tothat a manhath, andnot according to that he hathnot.
12 For if there is a ready mind, a man will have God's approval in the measure of what he has, and not of what he has not.
13ForI meannotthat other men be eased, andyeburdened:
13 And I am not saying this so that others may get off free, while the weight comes on you:
13 이는 다른 사람들은 평안하게 하고 너희는 곤고하게 하려는 것이 아니요 평균케 하려 함이니

14 But so that things may be equal; that from those things of which you have more than enough at the present time their need may be helped, and that if you are in any need they may be a help to you in the same way, making things equal.
14 이제 너희의 유여한 것으로 저희 부족한 것을 보충함은 후에 저희 유여한 것으로 너희 부족한 것을 보충하여 평균하게 하려 함이라

15As it is written, He that had gatheredmuchhadnothingover; and he that had gatheredlittlehadnolack.
15 As it says in the Writings, He who had taken up much had nothing over and he who had little had enough.
15 기록한것 같이 많이 거둔 자도 남지 아니하였고 적게 거둔 자도 모자라지 아니하였느니라

19 And not only so, but he was marked out by the churches to go with us in the grace of this giving which we have undertaken to the glory of the Lord and to make clear that our mind was ready:
19 이뿐 아니라 저는 동일한 주의 영광과 우리의 원을 나타내기 위하여 여러 교회의 택함을 입어 우리의 맡은 은혜의 일로 우리와 동행하는 자라

22 또 저희와 함께 우리의 한 형제를 보내었노니 우리가 여러 가지 일에 그 간절한 것을 여러번 시험하였거니와 이제 저가 너희를 크게 믿으므로 더욱 간절하니라

23 If any question comes up about Titus, he is my brother-worker, working with me for you; or about the others, they are the representatives of the churches to the glory of Christ.
23 디도로 말하면 나의 동무요 너희를 위한 나의 동역자요 우리 형제들로 말하면 여러 교회의 사자들이요 그리스도의 영광이니라
