1 Now the queen of Sheba, hearing great things of Solomon, came to Jerusalem to put his wisdom to the test with hard questions; and with her came a very great train, and camels weighted down with spices, and great stores of gold and jewels: and when she came to Solomon she had talk with him of everything in her mind.

And behold, the one half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You are greater than the fame which I heard. 6 But I had no faith in what was said about you, till I came and saw for myself; and truly, word was not given me of half your great wisdom; you are much greater than they said.

Once every three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. 29 이 외에 솔로몬의 시종 행적은 선지자 나단의 글과 실로 사람 아히야의 예언과 선견자 잇도의 묵시 책 곧 잇도가 느밧의 아들 여로보암에게 대하여 쓴 책에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
30 And Solomonreigned in Jerusalem over all Israelfortyyears.[x]MKJV: And Solomon reigned forty years in Jerusalem over all Israel. BBE: Solomon was king over Israel in Jerusalem for forty years. KAV: 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 사십 년 동안 온 이스라엘을 통치하니라.

31 And Solomonslept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his sonreigned in his stead.[x]MKJV: And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father. And his son Rehoboam reigned in his place. BBE: And Solomon went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the town of David his father; and Rehoboam his son became king in his place. KAV: 솔로몬이 자기 조상들과 함께 잠들어 자기 아버지 다윗의 도시에 묻히니 그의 아들 르호보암이 그를 대신하여 통치하니라.
31 And Solomon went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the town of David his father; and Rehoboam his son became king in his place.
31 솔로몬이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 부친 다윗의 성에 장사되고 그 아들 르호보암이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
