1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel went back to their towns, every man to his property.
1 이 모든 일이 마치매 거기 있는 이스라엘 무리가 나가서 유다 여러 성읍에 이르러 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상을 찍으며 유다와 베냐민과 에브라임과 므낫세 온 땅에서 산당과 단을 제하여 멸하고 이스라엘 모든 자손이 각각 그 본성 기업으로 돌아갔더라
2 And Hezekiahappointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every manaccording to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And Hezekiah set the courses of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, each according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. BBE: Then Hezekiah put in order the divisions of the priests and Levites, every man in his division, in relation to his work, for the burned offerings and peace-offerings, and for the ordering of worship and for giving praise at the doors of the Lord's house. 2 Then Hezekiah put in order the divisions of the priests and Levites, every man in his division, in relation to his work, for the burned offerings and peace-offerings, and for the ordering of worship and for giving praise at the doors of the Lord's house.
2 히스기야가 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 반차를 정하고 각각 그 직임을 행하게 하되 곧 제사장들과 레위 사람들로 번제와 화목제를 드리며 여호와의 영문에서 섬기며 감사하며 찬송하게 하고
3He appointed also the king'sportion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it iswritten in the law of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And the king's portion from his goods [was] for burnt offerings, and for burnt offerings, of the morning and the evening and the burnt offerings of the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as [it is] written in the law of the LORD. BBE: And he gave the king's part of his private property for the burned offerings, that is, for the morning and evening offerings, and the offerings for the Sabbath and the new moons and the regular feasts, as it is recorded in the law of the Lord. KAV: 또 {주}의 율법에 기록한 대로 자기 재산 중에서 번제 헌물 곧 아침과 저녁의 번제 헌물과 안식일과 월삭과 정한 명절들에 드리는 번제 헌물로 쓸 왕의 몫을 지정하고
3 And he gave the king's part of his private property for the burned offerings, that is, for the morning and evening offerings, and the offerings for the Sabbath and the new moons and the regular feasts, as it is recorded in the law of the Lord.
3 또 자기 재산 중에서 얼마를 정하여 여호와의 율법에 기록된대로 번제 곧 조석 번제와 안식일과 초하루와 절기의 번제에 쓰게 하고
4 Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites so that they might be strong in the law of the LORD. BBE: In addition, he gave orders to the people of Jerusalem to give to the priests and Levites that part which was theirs by right, so that they might be strong in keeping the law of the Lord. KAV: 또 예루살렘에 거하던 백성에게 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 몫을 주도록 명령하여 그들이 {주}의 율법 안에서 용기를 얻게 하니라.
4 In addition, he gave orders to the people of Jerusalem to give to the priests and Levites that part which was theirs by right, so that they might be strong in keeping the law of the Lord.
4 또 예루살렘에 거한 백성을 명하여 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 응식을 주어 저희로 여호와의 율법을 힘쓰게 하라 한지라
5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israelbrought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all thingsbrought they in abundantly.[x]MKJV: And as the command spread, the sons of Israel brought plentifully of the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field. And the tithe of all [things] they brought in abundance. 5 And when the order was made public, straight away the children of Israel gave, in great amounts, the first-fruits of their grain and wine and oil and honey, and of the produce of their fields; and they took in a tenth part of everything, a great store.
5 왕의 명령이 내리자 곧 이스라엘 자손이 곡식과 포도주와 기름과 꿀과 밭의 모든 소산의 처음 것을 풍성히 드렸고 또 모든 것의 십일조를 많이 가져왔으며
6 And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laidthem by heaps.[x]MKJV: And the sons of Israel and Judah who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to the LORD their God, and laid it up by heaps. 6 And the children of Israel and Judah, who were living in the towns of Judah came with the tenth part of their oxen and sheep, and a tenth of all the holy things which were to be given to the Lord their God, and put them in great masses.
6 유다 여러 성읍에 거한 이스라엘과 유다 자손도 소와 양의 십일조를 가져왔고 또 그 하나님 여호와께 구별하여 드릴 성물의 십일조를 가져왔으며 그것을 쌓아 더미를 이루었는데
7 In the thirdmonth they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finishedthem in the seventhmonth.[x]MKJV: In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished in the seventh month. BBE: The first store of things was put down in the third month, and in the seventh month the masses were complete. KAV: 그들이 셋째 달에 그 무더기들의 기초를 놓기 시작하여 일곱째 달에 그것들을 마치매

8 And when Hezekiah and the princescame and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his peopleIsrael.[x]MKJV: And Hezekiah and the rulers came and saw the heaps, and they blessed the LORD and His people Israel. BBE: And when Hezekiah and the rulers came and saw all the store of goods, they gave praise to the Lord and to his people Israel. KAV: 히스기야와 통치자들이 와서 그 무더기들을 보고 {주}를 찬송하며 자기 백성 이스라엘을 축복하니라.

9 Then Hezekiahquestioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.[x]MKJV: And Hezekiah asked the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. BBE: Then Hezekiah put questions to the priests and Levites about the store of goods. KAV: 그때에 히스기야가 그 무더기들에 관하여 제사장들과 레위 사람들에게 물으니
9 Then Hezekiah put questions to the priests and Levites about the store of goods.

10 And Azariah the chiefpriest of the house of Zadokanswered him, and said, Since the peoplebegan to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have leftplenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is leftis this great store.[x]MKJV: And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him and said, Since [the people] began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat and have plenty left. For the LORD has blessed His people, and this great store is left. BBE: And Azariah, the chief priest, of the family of Zadok, said in answer, From the time when the people first came with their offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had food enough, and more than enough: for the blessing of the Lord is on his people; and there is this great store which has not been used. KAV: 사독의 집에 속한 수제사장 아사랴가 응답하여 이르되, 백성이 헌물을 {주}의 집에 가져오기 시작한 이후로 우리가 풍족하게 먹고도 많이 남겼나이다. {주}께서 자신의 백성에게 복을 주셨으므로 그 남은 것이 이처럼 많이 쌓였나이다, 하니라.
10 And Azariah, the chief priest, of the family of Zadok, said in answer, From the time when the people first came with their offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had food enough, and more than enough: for the blessing of the Lord is on his people; and there is this great store which has not been used.
10 사독의 족속 대제사장 아사랴가 대답하여 가로되 백성이 예물을 여호와의 전에 드리기 시작함으로부터 우리가 족하게 먹었으나 남은 것이 많으니 이는 여호와께서 그 백성에게 복을 주셨음이라 그 남은 것이 이렇게 많이 쌓였나이다
11 Then Hezekiahcommanded to preparechambers in the house of the LORD; and they preparedthem,[x]MKJV: And Hezekiah commanded storehouses to be prepared in the house of the LORD. And they prepared, BBE: Then Hezekiah said that store-rooms were to be made ready in the house of the Lord; and this was done. KAV: ¶ 그때에 히스기야가 명령하여 {주}의 집에 방들을 예비하게 하므로 그들이 방들을 예비하였으며
11 Then Hezekiah said that store-rooms were to be made ready in the house of the Lord; and this was done.

12 And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicatedthingsfaithfully: over which Cononiah the Levitewasruler, and Shimei his brotherwas the next.[x]MKJV: and brought in the offerings and the tithes and the [things] dedicated to God faithfully. And over them [was] Cononiah the Levite ruler, and Shimei his brother the next. 12 And in them they put all the offerings and the tenths and the holy things, keeping nothing back, and over them was Conaniah the Levite, with Shimei his brother second to him.

13 And Jehiel and Azaziah and Nahath and Asahel and Jerimoth and Jozabad and Eliel and Ismachiah and Mahath and Benaiah were overseers, under the directions of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the order of Hezekiah the king and Azariah, the ruler of the house of God.

14 And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.[x]MKJV: And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the gatekeeper toward the east, [was] over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the sacrifices of the LORD and the most holy things. BBE: And Kore, the son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the east door, had control of the offerings freely given to God, and the distribution of the offerings of the Lord and the most holy things. KAV: 또 동쪽 문지기 레위 사람 임나의 아들 고레는 [하나님]께 드리는 자원 헌물을 맡아 {주}께 드리는 봉헌물과 지극히 거룩한 것들을 나누어 주었으며
14 And Kore, the son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the east door, had control of the offerings freely given to God, and the distribution of the offerings of the Lord and the most holy things.

15 And next him wereEden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethrenbycourses, as well to the great as to the small:[x]MKJV: And next to him Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in [their] set office, to give to their brothers by divisions, to the great as well as to the small, BBE: And under him were Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah and Amariah and Shecaniah, in the towns of the priests, who were made responsible for giving it to all their brothers, by divisions, to small and great: KAV: 그 다음으로 제사장들의 도시들에서 자기들에게 정해 준 직무를 맡아 자기 형제들에게 계열대로 주되 큰 자뿐 아니라 작은 자에게도 준 에덴과 미냐민과 예수아와 스마야와 아마랴와 스가냐가 있었더라.
15 And under him were Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah and Amariah and Shecaniah, in the towns of the priests, who were made responsible for giving it to all their brothers, by divisions, to small and great:
15 그 수하의 에덴과 미냐민과 예수아와 스마야와 아마랴와 스가냐는 제사장의 성읍들에 있어서 직임을 맡아 그 형제에게 반차대로 무론대소하고 나눠주되
16 Beside their genealogy of males, from threeyearsold and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his dailyㆍportion for their service in their charges according to their courses;[x]MKJV: besides registering the males from three years and upward, to everyone who enters into the house of the LORD, giving his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their divisions BBE: As well as to all the males, of three years old and over, listed by their families, who went into the house of the Lord to do what was needed day by day, for their special work with their divisions. KAV: 이들이 세 살이 넘어 계보에 기록된 남자들 외에 {주}의 집에 들어가서 자기 계열에 따라 책무를 맡아 섬기는 모든 사람에게 날마다 쓸 몫을 주며
16 As well as to all the males, of three years old and over, listed by their families, who went into the house of the Lord to do what was needed day by day, for their special work with their divisions.
16 삼세 이상으로 족보에 기록된 남자 외에 날마다 여호와의 전에 들어가서 그 반차대로 직임에 수종드는 자들에게 다 나눠주며
17 Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twentyyearsold and upward, in their charges by their courses;[x]MKJV: both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, and their charges by their divisions, BBE: And the families of the priests were listed by their fathers' names, but the Levites, of twenty years old and over, were listed in relation to their work in their divisions; KAV: 또 자기들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계보에 오른 제사장들에게 주고 또 스무 살이 넘어 자기 계열대로 책무를 맡은 레위 사람들에게 주며
17 And the families of the priests were listed by their fathers' names, but the Levites, of twenty years old and over, were listed in relation to their work in their divisions;
17 또 그 족속대로 족보에 기록된 제사장들에게 나눠 주며 이십세 이상부터 그 반차대로 직임을 맡은 레위 사람들에게 나눠 주며
18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:[x]MKJV: and to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation. For in their set office they set themselves apart in holiness. BBE: And in the lists were all their little ones and their wives and their sons and daughters, through all the people: they made themselves holy in the positions which they were given. KAV: 또 온 회중을 두루 거쳐 계보에 오른 그들의 어린것들과 아내들과 아들딸들에게 주었으니 이는 그들이 자기들에게 정해진 직무를 맡아 거룩한 가운데 자신을 거룩히 구별하였기 때문이더라.
18 And in the lists were all their little ones and their wives and their sons and daughters, through all the people: they made themselves holy in the positions which they were given.
18 또 그 족보에 기록된 온 회중의 어린아이와 아내와 자녀들에게 나눠 주었으니 이 회중은 성결하고 충실히 그 직분을 다하는 자며
19 Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to giveportions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.[x]MKJV: And to the sons of Aaron, the priests, in the fields of the open lands of their cities, in each separate city [were] the men who were named by name, to give shares to all the males among the priests, and to all who were counted by genealogies among the Levites. BBE: And as for the sons of Aaron, the priests, living in the country on the outskirts of their towns, every different town there were men, marked out by name, to give their part of the goods to all the males among the priests, and to all who were listed among the Levites. KAV: 또 자기들의 도시들의 주변 지역의 들에 있던 아론의 아들 제사장들에게는 모든 도시에서 이름이 명시된 사람들이 제사장들 중에서 모든 남자와 레위 사람들 중에서 계보대로 계수된 모든 자에게 몫을 주었더라.
19 And as for the sons of Aaron, the priests, living in the country on the outskirts of their towns, every different town there were men, marked out by name, to give their part of the goods to all the males among the priests, and to all who were listed among the Levites.
19 각 성읍에서 녹명된 사람이 있어 성읍 가까운 들에 거한 아론 자손 제사장들에게도 나눠 주되 제사장들의 모든 남자와 족보에 기록된 레위 사람들에게 나눠 주었더라
20 And thus didHezekiah throughout all Judah, and wroughtthat which wasgood and right and truthbefore the LORD his God.[x]MKJV: And Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and did the good and the right and the true before the LORD his God. BBE: This Hezekiah did through all Judah; he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. KAV: ¶ 히스기야가 온 유다에서 두루 이같이 행하되 {주} 자기 [하나님] 앞에 선하고 올바르고 참된 것을 행하였으니
20 This Hezekiah did through all Judah; he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God.

21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he didit with all his heart, and prospered.[x]MKJV: And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did [it] with all his heart, and prospered. BBE: And for everything he undertook, in connection with the work of the house of God and his law and orders, he got directions from God and did it with serious purpose; and things went well for him. KAV: 그가 자기가 시작한 모든 일 곧 [하나님]의 집에서 섬기는 일에서나 율법에서나 명령에서 자기 [하나님]을 구하고 마음을 다해 그것을 행하여 형통하였더라.
21 And for everything he undertook, in connection with the work of the house of God and his law and orders, he got directions from God and did it with serious purpose; and things went well for him.
21 무릇 그 행하는 모든 일 곧 하나님의 전에 수종드는 일에나 율법에나 계명에나 그 하나님을 구하고 일심으로 행하여 형통하였더라
