KJV BBE KRV
Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?1 Then Samuel took the bottle of oil, and put the oil on his head and gave him a kiss and said, Is not the Lord with the holy oil making you ruler over Israel, his people? and you will have authority over the people of the Lord, and you will make them safe from the hands of their attackers round about them, and this will be the sign for you:1 이에 사무엘이 기름병을 취하여 사울의 머리에 붓고 입맞추어 가로되 여호와께서 네게 기름을 부으사 그 기업의 지도자를 삼지 아니하셨느냐
When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?2 When you have gone away from me today, you will see two men by the resting-place of Rachel's body, in the land of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say to you, The asses which you went in search of have come back, and now your father, caring no longer for the asses, is troubled about you, saying, What am I to do about my son?2 네가 오늘 나를 떠나가다가 베냐민 경계 셀사에 있는 라헬의 묘실 곁에서 두 사람을 만나리니 그들이 네게 이르기를 네가 찾으러 갔던 암나귀들을 찾은지라 네 아비가 암나귀들의 염려는 놓았으나 너희를 인하여 걱정하여 가로되 내 아들을 위하여 어찌하리요 하더라 할 것이요
Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:3 Then you are to go on from there, and when you come to the oak-tree of Tabor, you will see three men going up to God to Beth-el, one having with him three young goats and another three cakes of bread and another a skin full of wine:3 네가 거기서 더 나아가서 다볼 상수리나무에 이르면 거기서 하나님께 뵈려고 벧엘로 올라가는 세 사람이 너와 만나리니 하나는 염소 새끼 셋을 이끌었고 하나는 떡 세 덩이를 가졌고 하나는 포도주 한 가죽부대를 가진 자라
And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.4 They will say, Peace be with you, and will give you two cakes of bread, which you are to take from them.4 그들이 네게 문안하고 떡 두덩이를 주겠고 너는 그 손에서 받으리라
After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:5 After that you will come to Gibeah, the hill of God, where an armed force of the Philistines is stationed: and when you come to the town, you will see a band of prophets coming down from the high place with instruments of music before them; and they will be acting like prophets:5 그 후에 네가 하나님의 산에 이르리니 그곳에는 블레셋 사람의 영문이 있느니라 네가 그리로 가서 그 성읍으로 들어갈 때에 선지자의 무리가 산당에서부터 비파와 소고와 저와 수금을 앞세우고 예언하며 내려오는 것을 만날 것이요
And the spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.6 And the spirit of the Lord will come on you with power, and you will be acting like a prophet with them, and will be changed into another man.6 네게는 여호와의 신이 크게 임하리니 너도 그들과 함께 예언을 하고 변하여 새 사람이 되리라
And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.7 And when these signs come to you, see that you take the chance which is offered you; for God is with you.7 이 징조가 네게 임하거든 너는 기회를 따라 행하라 하나님이 너와 함께 하시느니라
And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and show thee what thou shalt do.8 Then you are to go down before me to Gilgal, where I will come to you, for the offering of burned offerings and peace-offerings: go on waiting there for seven days till I come to you and make clear to you what you have to do.8 너는 나보다 앞서 길갈로 내려가라 내가 네게로 내려가서 번제와 화목제를 드리리니 내가 네게 가서 너의 행할 것을 가르칠 때까지 칠일을 기다리라
And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.9 And it came about, that when he went away from Samuel, God gave him a changed heart: and all those signs took place that day.9 그가 사무엘에게서 떠나려고 몸을 돌이킬 때에 하나님이 새 마음을 주셨고 그 날 그 징조도 다 응하니라
And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.10 And when they came to Gibeah, a band of prophets came face to face with him; and the spirit of God came on him with power and he took his place among them as a prophet.10 그들이 산에 이를 때에 선지자의 무리가 그를 영접하고 하나님의 신이 사울에게 크게 임하므로 그가 그들 중에서 예언을 하니
And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?11 Now when Saul's old friends saw him among the band of prophets, the people said to one another, What has come to Saul, the son of Kish? Is even Saul among the prophets?11 전에 사울을 알던 모든 사람이 사울의 선지자들과 함께 예언함을 보고 서로 이르되 기스의 아들의 당한 일이 무엇이뇨 사울도 선지자들 중에 있느냐 하고
And one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?12 And one of the people of that place said in answer, And who is their father? So it became a common saying, Is even Saul among the prophets?12 그곳의 어떤 사람은 말하여 이르되 그들의 아비가 누구냐 한지라 그러므로 속담이 되어 가로되 사울도 선지자들 중에 있느냐 하더라
And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.13 Then going away from the prophets, he came to the house.13 사울이 예언하기를 마치고 산당으로 가니라
And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel.14 And Saul's father's brother said to him and his servant, Where have you been? And he said, Searching for the asses: and when we saw no sign of them, we came to Samuel.14 사울의 숙부가 사울과 그 사환에게 이르되 너희가 어디로 갔더냐 사울이 가로되 암나귀들을 찾다가 얻지 못하므로 사무엘에게 갔었나이다
And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.15 Then he said, And what did Samuel say to you?15 사울의 숙부가 가로되 청하노니 사무엘이 너희에게 이른 말을 내게 고하라
And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.16 And Saul, answering him, said, He gave us word that the asses had come back. But he said nothing to him of Samuel's words about the kingdom.16 사울이 그 숙부에게 말하되 그가 암나귀들을 찾았다고 우리에게 분명히 말하더이다 하고 사무엘의 말하던 나라의 일은 고하지 아니하니라
And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;17 Then Samuel sent for the people to come together before the Lord at Mizpah;17 사무엘이 백성을 미스바로 불러 여호와 앞에 모으고
And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:18 And he said to the children of Israel, The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, I took Israel out of Egypt, and made you free from the hands of the Egyptians and from all the kingdoms which kept you down:18 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 내가 이스라엘을 애굽에서 인도하여 내고 너희를 애굽인의 손과 너희를 압제하는 모든 나라의 손에서 건져내었느니라 하셨거늘
And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.19 But today you are turned away from your God, who himself has been your saviour from all your troubles and sorrows; and you have said to him, Put a king over us. So now, take your places before the Lord by your tribes and by your thousands.19 너희가 너희를 모든 재난과 고통 중에서 친히 구원하여 내신 너희 하나님을 오늘날 버리고 이르기를 우리 위에 왕을 세우라 하도다 그런즉 이제 너희 지파대로 천명씩 여호와 앞에 나아오라 하고
And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.20 So Samuel made all the tribes of Israel come near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken.20 사무엘이 이에 이스라엘 모든 지파를 가까이 오게 하였더니 베냐민 지파가 뽑혔고
When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.21 Then he made the tribe of Benjamin come near by families, and the family of the Matrites was taken: and from them, Saul, the son of Kish, was taken: but when they went in search of him he was nowhere to be seen.21 베냐민 지파를 그 가족대로 가까이 오게 하였더니 마드리의 가족이 뽑혔고 그 중에서 기스의 아들 사울이 뽑혔으나 그를 찾아도 만나지 못한지라
Therefore they inquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.22 So they put another question to the Lord, Is the man present here? And the answer of the Lord was, He is keeping himself from view among the goods.22 그러므로 그들이 또 여호와께 묻되 그 사람이 여기 왔나이까 여호와께서 대답하시되 그가 행구 사이에 숨었느니라
And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.23 So they went quickly and made him come out; and when he took his place among the people, he was taller by a head than any of the people.23 그들이 달려 가서 거기서 데려오매 그가 백성 중에 서니 다른 사람보다 어깨 위나 더 크더라
And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.24 And Samuel said to all the people, Do you see the man of the Lord's selection, how there is no other like him among all the people? And all the people with loud cries said, Long life to the king!24 사무엘이 모든 백성에게 이르되 너희는 여호와의 택하신 자를 보느냐 모든 백성 중에 짝할이가 없느니라 하니 모든 백성이 왕의 만세를 외쳐 부르니라
Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.25 Then Samuel gave the people the laws of the kingdom, writing them in a book which he put in a safe place before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.25 사무엘이 나라의 제도를 백성에게 말하고 책에 기록하여 여호와 앞에 두고 모든 백성을 각기 집으로 보내매
And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.26 And Saul went to Gibeah, to his house; and with him went the men of war whose hearts had been touched by God.26 사울도 기브아 자기 집으로 갈 때에 마음이 하나님께 감동된 유력한 자들은 그와 함께 갔어도
But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.27 But certain good-for-nothing persons said, How is this man to be our saviour? And having no respect for him, they gave him no offering.27 어떤 비류는 가로되 이 사람이 어떻게 우리를 구원하겠느냐 하고 멸시하며 예물을 드리지 아니하니라 그러나 그는 잠잠하였더라
