1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,1 And the word of the Lord came to Jehu, son of Hanani, protesting against Baasha and saying,1 여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 예후에게 임하여 바아사를 꾸짖어 가라사대
2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;2 Because I took you up out of the dust, and made you ruler over my people Israel; and you have gone in the ways of Jeroboam, and made my people Israel do evil, moving me to wrath by their sins;2 내가 너를 진토에서 들어 나의 백성 이스라엘 위에 주권자가 되게 하였거늘 네가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 내 백성 이스라엘로 범죄케 하여 저희 죄로 나의 노를 격동하였은즉
3 Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.3 Truly, I will see that Baasha and all his family are completely brushed away; I will make your family like the family of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat.3 내가 너 바아사와 네 집을 쓸어버려 네 집으로 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 집 같이 되게 하리니
4 Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.4 Anyone of the family of Baasha who comes to death in the town, will become food for the dogs; and he to whom death comes in the open country, will be food for the birds of the air.4 바아사에게 속한 자가 성읍에서 죽은즉 개가 먹고 들에서 죽은즉 공중의 새가 먹으리라 하셨더라
5 Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?5 Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?5 바아사의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일과 권세는 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
6 So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.6 And Baasha went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth at Tirzah; and Elah his son became king in his place.6 바아사가 그 열조와 함께 자매 디르사에 장사되고 그 아들 엘라가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
7 And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.7 And the Lord sent his word against Baasha and his family by the mouth of the prophet Jehu, the son of Hanani, because of all the evil he did in the eyes of the Lord, moving him to wrath by the work of his hands, because he was like the family of Jeroboam, and because he put it to death.7 여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 선지자 예후에게 임하사 바아사와 그 집을 꾸짖으심은 저가 여로보암의 집을 본받아 여호와 보시기에 모든 악을 행하며 그 손의 소위로 여호와의 노를 격동하였음이며 또 그 집을 쳤음이더라
8 In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.8 In the twenty-sixth year that Asa was king of Judah, Elah, the son of Baasha, became king of Israel in Tirzah, and he was king for two years.8 유다 왕 아사 제 이십 륙년에 바아사의 아들 엘라가 디르사에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 이년을 위에 있으니라
9 And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.9 And his servant Zimri, captain of half his war-carriages, made secret designs against him: now he was in Tirzah, drinking hard in the house of Arza, controller of the king's house in Tirzah.9 엘라가 디르사에 있어 궁내대신 아르사의 집에서 마시고 취할 때에 그 신복 곧 병거 절반을 통솔한 장관 시므리가 왕을 모반하여
10 And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.10 And Zimri went in and made an attack on him and put him to death, in the twenty-seventh year that Asa was king of Judah, and made himself king in his place.10 들어가서 저를 쳐 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니 곧 유다 왕 아사 제 이십 칠년이라
11 And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.11 And straight away when he became king and took his place on the seat of the kingdom, he put to death all the family of Baasha: not one male child of his relations or his friends kept his life.11 시므리가 왕이 되어 그 위에 오를 때에 바아사의 온 집을 죽이되 남자는 그 족속이든지 그 친구든지 하나도 남기지 아니하고
12 Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,12 So Zimri put to death all the family of Baasha, so that the word which the Lord said against him by the mouth of Jehu the prophet came about;12 바아사의 온 집을 멸하였는데 여호와께서 선지자 예후로 바아사를 꾸짖어 하신 말씀 같이 되었으니
13 For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.13 Because of all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, which they did and made Israel do, moving the Lord, the God of Israel, to wrath by their foolish acts.13 이는 바아사의 모든 죄와 그 아들 엘라의 죄를 인함이라 저희가 범죄하고 또 이스라엘로 범죄케 하여 그 헛된것으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발하였더라
14 Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?14 Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?14 엘라의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일이 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
15 In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.15 In the twenty-seventh year of Asa, king of Judah, Zimri was king for seven days in Tirzah. Now the people were attacking Gibbethon in the land of the Philistines.15 유다 왕 아사 제 이십 칠년에 시므리가 디르사에서 칠일 동안 왕이 되니라 때에 백성들이 블레셋 사람에게 속한 깁브돈을 향하여 진을 치고 있더니
16 And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.16 And news came to the people in the tents that Zimri had made a secret design and had put the king to death: so all Israel made Omri, the captain of the army, king that day in the tents.16 진중 백성들이 시므리가 모반하여 왕을 죽였다는 말을 들은지라 그 날에 이스라엘의 무리가 진에서 군대장관 오므리로 이스라엘 왕을 삼으매
17 And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.17 Then Omri went up from Gibbethon, with all the army of Israel, and they made an attack on Tirzah, shutting in the town on every side.17 오므리가 이에 이스라엘 무리를 거느리고 깁브돈에서부터 올라와서 디르사를 에워 쌌더라
18 And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died,18 And when Zimri saw that the town was taken, he went into the inner room of the king's house, and burning the house over his head, came to his end,18 시므리가 성이 함락됨을 보고 왕궁 위소에 들어가서 왕궁에 불을 놓고 그 가운데서 죽었으니
19 For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.19 Because of his sin in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, in going in the way of Jeroboam and in his sin which he made Israel do.19 이는 저가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 범죄함을 인함이라 저가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘로 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하였더라
20 Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?20 Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and the secret design he made, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?20 시므리의 남은 행위와 그 모반한 일이 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
21 Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed ㆍ Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.21 Then there was a division among the people of Israel; half the people were for making Tibni, son of Ginath, king, and half were supporting Omri.21 그 때에 이스라엘 백성이 둘에 나뉘어 그 절반은 기낫의 아들 디브니를 좇아 저로 왕을 삼으려하고 그 절반은 오므리를 좇았더니
22 But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.22 But the supporters of Omri overcame those who were on the side of Tibni, the son of Ginath; and death came to Tibni and to his brother Joram at that time: and Omri became king in the place of Tibni.22 오므리를 좇은 백성이 기낫의 아들 디브니를 좇은 백성을 이긴지라 디브니가 죽으매 오므리가 왕이 되니라
23 In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve ㆍ years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.23 In the thirty-first year of Asa, king of Judah, Omri became king over Israel, and he was king for twelve years; for six years he was ruling in Tirzah.23 유다 왕 아사 제 삼십 일년에 오므리가 이스라엘 왕이 되어 십 이년을 위에 있으며 디르사에서 육년 동안 치리하니라
24 And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.24 He got the hill Samaria from Shemer for the price of two talents of silver, and he made a town there, building it on the hill and naming it Samaria, after Shemer the owner of the hill.24 저가 은 두 달란트로 세멜에게서 사마리아산을 사고 그 산 위에 성을 건축하고 그 건축한 성 이름을 그 산 주인이 되었던 세멜의 이름을 좇아 사마리아라 일컬었더라
25 But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.25 And Omri did evil in the eyes of the Lord, even worse than all those before him,25 오므리가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하되 그 전의 모든 사람보다 더욱 악하게 행하여
26 For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.26 Copying all the evil ways of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and all the sins he did and made Israel do, moving the Lord, the God of Israel, to wrath by their foolish ways.26 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘로 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하여 그 헛된 것으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발케 하였더라
27 Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?27 Now the rest of the acts which Omri did, and his great power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?27 오므리의 행한 그 남은 사적과 그 베푼 권세가 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
28 So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.28 So Omri went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in Samaria; and Ahab his son became king in his place.28 오므리가 그 열조와 함께 자매 사마리아에 장사되고 그 아들 아합이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
29 And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.29 In the thirty-eighth year that Asa was king of Judah, Ahab, the son of Omri, became king over Israel; and Ahab was king in Samaria for twenty-two years.29 유다 왕 아사 제 삼십 팔년에 오므리의 아들 아합이 이스라엘 왕이 되니라 오므리의 아들 아합이 사마리아에서 이십 이년을 이스라엘을 다스리니라
30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.30 And Ahab, the son of Omri, did evil in the eyes of the Lord, even worse than all who went before him.30 오므리의 아들 아합이 그 전의 모든 사람보다 여호와 보시기에 악을 더욱 행하여
31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.31 And as if copying the evil ways of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, was a small thing for him, he took as his wife Jezebel, daughter of Ethbaal, king of Zidon, and became a servant and worshipper of Baal.31 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄를 따라 행하는 것을 오히려 가볍게 여기며 시돈 사람의 왕 엣바알의 딸 이세벨로 아내를 삼고 가서 바알을 섬겨 숭배하고
32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.32 And he put up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal which he had made in Samaria.32 사마리아에 건축한 바알의 사당 속에 바알을 위하여 단을 쌓으며
33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.33 And Ahab made an image of Asherah and did more than all the kings of Israel before him to make the Lord, the God of Israel, angry.33 또 아세라 목상을 만들었으니 저는 그 전의 모든 이스라엘 왕보다 심히 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발하였더라
34 In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.34 In his days Hiel made Jericho; he put its base in position at the price of Abiram, his oldest son, and he put its doors in place at the price of his youngest son Segub; even as the Lord had said by Joshua, the son of Nun.34 그 시대에 벧엘 사람 히엘이 여리고를 건축하였는데 저가 그 터를 쌓을 때에 맏아들 아비람을 잃었고 그 문을 세울 때에 말째 아들 스굽을 잃었으니 여호와께서 눈의 아들 여호수아로 하신 말씀과 같이 되었더라
