1 Furthermore David the kingsaid unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom aloneGod hath chosen, is yetyoung and tender, and the workisgreat: for the palaceis not for man, but for the LORDGod.[x]MKJV: And David the king said to all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, [is] young and tender, and the work [is] great. For the palace [is] not for man, but for the LORD God. BBE: And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God. KAV: 또 다윗 왕이 온 회중에게 이르되, [하나님]께서 유일하게 택하신 내 아들 솔로몬은 아직 어리고 연약한데 이 공사는 크니 이는 이 전당이 사람을 위한 것이 아니요, {주} [하나님]을 위한 것이기 때문이라.
1 And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
1 다윗왕이 온 회중에게 이르되 내 아들 솔로몬이 홀로 하나님의 택하신바 되었으나 오히려 어리고 연약하고 이 역사는 크도다 이 전은 사람을 위한 것이 아니요 여호와 하나님을 위한 것이라
2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyxstones, and stones to be set, glisteringstones, and of divers colours, and all manner of preciousstones, and marblestones in abundance.[x]MKJV: And I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for [things of] gold, and the silver for [things] of silver, and the bronze for [things] of bronze, the iron for [things] of iron, and wood for things] of wood, onyx stones, and [stones to] be set, and also stones of antimony, and stones of many colors, and every precious stone, and stones of alabaster, in abundance. BBE: Now as far as I am able, I have made ready what is needed for the house of my God; the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the silver things, and the brass for the brass things, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood; beryls and jewels to be framed, and stones of different colours for ornament; all sorts of stones of great price, and polished building-stone, as much as is needed and more. KAV: 이제 내가 이미 내 [하나님]의 집을 위하여 힘을 다해 예비하되 곧 금으로 만들 것들을 위하여 금을, 은으로 만들 것들을 위하여 은을, 놋으로 만들 것들을 위하여 놋을, 쇠로 만들 것들을 위하여 쇠를, 나무로 만들 것들을 위하여 나무를 예비하였으며 또 줄마노와 장식할 보석과 빛나는 보석과 여러 색깔의 보석과 온갖 보석과 대리석을 풍성히 예비하였노라.
2 Now as far as I am able, I have made ready what is needed for the house of my God; the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the silver things, and the brass for the brass things, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood; beryls and jewels to be framed, and stones of different colours for ornament; all sorts of stones of great price, and polished building-stone, as much as is needed and more.
2 내가 이미 내 하나님의 전을 위하여 힘을 다하여 예비하였나니 곧 기구를 만들 금과 은과 놋과 철과 나무며 또 마노와 박을 보석과 꾸밀 보석과 채석과 다른 보석들과 화반석이 매우 많으며
3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holyhouse,[x]MKJV: And also, because I have delighted in the house of my God, out of my own treasure of gold and silver I have given to the house of my God over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, BBE: And because this house of God is dear to me, I give my private store of gold and silver to the house of my God, in addition to all I have got ready for the holy house; KAV: 또 내가 그 거룩한 집을 위하여 예비한 이 모든 것 외에도 내가 내 [하나님]의 집을 사모하였으므로 내 소유의 재물 곧 금과 은 중에서 내 [하나님]의 집을 위하여 드렸노니
3 And because this house of God is dear to me, I give my private store of gold and silver to the house of my God, in addition to all I have got ready for the holy house;
3 성전을 위하여 예비한 이 모든 것 외에도 내 마음에 내 하나님의 전을 사모하므로 나의 사유의 금, 은으로 내 하나님의 전을 위하여 드렸노니
4Eventhreethousandtalents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seventhousandtalents of refinedsilver, to overlay the walls of the houseswithal:[x]MKJV: three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses; BBE: Even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of the best silver, for plating the walls of the house: KAV: 즉 오빌의 금에서 금 삼천 달란트와 정화된 은 칠천 달란트라. 이것으로 집들의 모든 벽에 입히며
4 Even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of the best silver, for plating the walls of the house:
4 곧 오빌의 금 삼천 달란트와 천은 칠천 달란트라 모든 전 벽에 입히며
5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of workto be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?[x]MKJV: the gold for [things] of gold, and the silver for [things] of silver, and for all kinds of work by the hands of skillful workers. And who [is] willing to consecrate his service this day to the LORD? BBE: Gold for the gold things, and silver for the silver things, and for every sort of work to be done by the expert workmen. Who then will come forward, offering himself this day for the Lord's work? KAV: 금은 금으로 된 것들을 만들고 은은 은으로 된 것들을 만들며 또 기술자의 손으로 만드는 온갖 일에 쓰게 하였나니 그런즉 이 날 누가 자원하여 자기의 섬길 것을 {주}께 거룩히 구분하겠느냐? 하니라.
5 Gold for the gold things, and silver for the silver things, and for every sort of work to be done by the expert workmen. Who then will come forward, offering himself this day for the Lord's work?
5 금, 은 그릇을 만들며 공장의 손으로 하는 모든 일에 쓰게 하였노니 오늘날 누가 즐거이 손에 채워 여호와께 드리겠느냐
6 Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king'swork, offered willingly,[x]MKJV: And the chiefs of the fathers, and the rulers of the tribes of Israel, and the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly. BBE: Then the heads of families and the chiefs of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the controllers of the king's business, freely gave themselves; KAV: ¶ 그때에 아버지들의 우두머리들과 이스라엘 지파들의 통치자들과 천인 대장들과 백인 대장들과 왕의 일을 관리하는 자들이 자원하여 드리되
6 Then the heads of families and the chiefs of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the controllers of the king's business, freely gave themselves;

7 And they gave for the use of the house of the Lord, five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron.
7 하나님의 전 역사를 위하여 금 오천 달란트와 금 다릭 일만과 은 일만 달란트와 놋 일만 팔천 달란트와 철 십만 달란트를 드리고
8 And they with whom preciousstones were foundgavethem to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.[x]MKJV: And he [who had] precious stones gave to the treasury of the house of the LORD by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite. BBE: And those who had stones of great price gave them to the store of the house of the Lord, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite. KAV: 보석을 가진 자들은 게르손 족속 여히엘의 손을 통하여 {주}의 집의 보고에 그것들을 드렸더라.
8 And those who had stones of great price gave them to the store of the house of the Lord, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite.
8 무릇 보석이 있는 자는 게르손 사람 여히엘의 손에 부쳐 여호와의 전 곳간에 드렸더라
9 Then the peoplerejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfectheart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with greatjoy.[x]MKJV: And the people rejoiced, because they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD. And David the king also rejoiced with great joy. BBE: Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full of joy. KAV: 그때에 백성이 자원하여 드리되 완전한 마음으로 {주}께 자원하여 드렸으므로 기뻐하였으며 다윗 왕도 크게 기뻐하며 즐거워하니라.
9 Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full of joy.
9 백성이 자기의 즐거이 드림으로 기뻐하였으니 곧 저희가 성심으로 여호와께 즐거이 드림이며 다윗왕도 기쁨을 이기지 못하여 하니라
10 Wherefore Davidblessed the LORDbefore all the congregation: and Davidsaid, Blessedbe thou, LORDGod of Israel our father, forever and ever.[x]MKJV: And David blessed the LORD before all the congregation. And David said, Blessed [are] You, LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever. BBE: So David gave praise to the Lord before all the people; and David said, Praise be to you, O Lord the God of Israel, our father for ever and ever. KAV: ¶ 그러므로 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 {주}를 찬송하여 이르되, {주} 우리 조상 이스라엘의 [하나님]이여, 주는 영원무궁토록 찬송을 받으시옵소서.
10 So David gave praise to the Lord before all the people; and David said, Praise be to you, O Lord the God of Israel, our father for ever and ever.
10 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 가로되 우리 조상 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주는 영원히 송축을 받으시옵소서
11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earthis thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.[x]MKJV: O LORD, Yours [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and, the majesty. For all in the heavens and in the earth [is Yours]. Yours [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and You lift up [Yourself] to all as Head. BBE: Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all. KAV: 오 {주}여, 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 승리와 위엄이 주의 것이오니 하늘과 땅의 모든 것이 주의 것이니이다. 오 {주}여, 왕국도 주의 것이오니 주는 모든 것 위에 머리로서 높여지셨나이다.
11 Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all.
11 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다
12 Both riches and honourcome of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine handispower and might; and in thine handit is to make great, and to give strength unto all.[x]MKJV: And the riches and the honor [are] from You, and You reign over all. And in Your hand [is] power and might. And [it is] in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all. BBE: Wealth and honour come from you, and you are ruler over all, and in your hand is power and strength; it is in your power to make great, and to give strength to all. KAV: 재물과 존귀가 다 주에게서 나오며 또 주는 모든 것을 통치하시나이다. 주의 손에 권능과 능력이 있사오니 사람을 크게 하심과 모든 사람에게 기력을 주심이 주의 손에 있나이다.
12 Wealth and honour come from you, and you are ruler over all, and in your hand is power and strength; it is in your power to make great, and to give strength to all.
12 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy gloriousname.[x]MKJV: And now, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. BBE: So now, our God, we give you praise, honouring the glory of your name. KAV: 그러므로 우리 [하나님]이여, 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다.

14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should beable to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.[x]MKJV: But who [am] I, and who my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things [are] from You, and we have given to You that which is Yours. BBE: But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours. KAV: 그러나 나는 누구며 내 백성은 무엇이기에 우리가 이런 식으로 이렇게 자원하여 드릴 힘이 있겠나이까? 모든 것이 주에게서 나왔사오니 우리가 주의 것에서 주께 드렸을 뿐이니이다.
14 But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours.
14 나와 나의 백성이 무엇이관대 이처럼 즐거운 마음으로 드릴 힘이 있었나이까 모든 것이 주께로 말미암았사오니 우리가 주의 손에서 받은 것으로 주께 드렸을 뿐이니이다
15 For we arestrangersbefore thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earthare as a shadow, and there is none abiding.[x]MKJV: For we [are] strangers before You, and pilgrims, as our fathers [were]. Our days on the earth [are] like a shadow, and none abides. BBE: For we, as all our fathers were, are like men from a strange country before you, who have got a place for a time in the land; our days on the earth are like a shade, and there is no hope of going on. KAV: 우리는 우리의 모든 조상들같이 주 앞에서 나그네요, 임시로 머무는 자이며 또 땅 위에 있는 우리의 날들은 그림자 같아서 영구히 지속되는 날이 없나이다.
15 For we, as all our fathers were, are like men from a strange country before you, who have got a place for a time in the land; our days on the earth are like a shade, and there is no hope of going on.
15 주 앞에서는 우리가 우리 열조와 다름이 없이 나그네와 우거한 자라 세상에 있는 날이 그림자 같아서 머무름이 없나이다
16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holynamecometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.[x]MKJV: O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name [comes] from Your hand, and is all Your own. BBE: O Lord our God, all this store, which we have made ready for the building of a house for your holy name, comes from your hand and is yours. KAV: 오 {주} 우리 [하나님]이여, 우리가 주를 위하여 주의 거룩한 이름을 위해 집을 건축하려고 예비하여 저축한 이 모든 것이 주의 손에서 왔사오며 다 주의 것이니이다.
16 O Lord our God, all this store, which we have made ready for the building of a house for your holy name, comes from your hand and is yours.
16 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리가 주의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하려고 미리 저축한 이 모든 물건이 다 주의 손에서 왔사오니 다 주의 것이니이다
17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.[x]MKJV: I know also, my God, that You try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things. And now I have seen with joy Your people who are present here to offer willingly to You. BBE: And I am conscious, my God, that you are the searcher of hearts, taking pleasure in righteousness. As for me, with an upright heart I have freely given all these things; and I have seen with joy your people who are here to make their offerings freely to you. KAV: 나의 [하나님]이여, 또한 내가 주께서 마음을 시험하시고 올바른 것을 기뻐하시는 줄 아나이다. 나로 말하건대 내가 올바른 마음으로 이 모든 것을 자원하여 드렸사오며 또 이제 내가 여기 있는 주의 백성이 주께 자원하여 드리는 것을 기쁘게 보았나이다.
17 And I am conscious, my God, that you are the searcher of hearts, taking pleasure in righteousness. As for me, with an upright heart I have freely given all these things; and I have seen with joy your people who are here to make their offerings freely to you.
17 나의 하나님이여 주께서 마음을 감찰하시고 정직을 기뻐하시는줄 내가 아나이다 내가 정직한 마음으로 이 모든 것을 즐거이 드렸사오며 이제 내가 또 여기 있는 주의 백성이 주께 즐거이 드리는 것을 보오니 심히 기쁘도소이다
18 O LORDGod of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:[x]MKJV: O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and prepare their heart to You. BBE: O Lord, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the deepest thoughts of your people, and let their hearts be fixed and true to you; KAV: 오 {주}여, 우리 조상 아브라함과 이삭과 이스라엘의 [하나님]이여, 이것을 주의 백성의 마음의 상상하는 바와 생각 속에 영원히 두시며 그들의 마음을 예비하사 주께로 향하게 하시옵소서.
18 O Lord, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the deepest thoughts of your people, and let their hearts be fixed and true to you;
18 우리 열조 아브라함과 이삭과 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주께서 이것을 주의 백성의 심중에 영원히 두어 생각하게 하시고 그 마음을 예비하여 주께로 돌아오게 하옵시며
19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfectheart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.[x]MKJV: And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the magnificent house [for] which I have made ready. BBE: And give to Solomon my son a true heart, to keep your orders, your rules, and your laws, and to do all these things, and to put up this great house for which I have made ready. KAV: 또 내 아들 솔로몬에게 완전한 마음을 주사 주의 명령과 증언과 법규를 지켜 이 모든 일을 행하게 하시고 내가 예비한 것으로 전당을 건축하게 하옵소서, 하였더라.
19 And give to Solomon my son a true heart, to keep your orders, your rules, and your laws, and to do all these things, and to put up this great house for which I have made ready.
19 또 내 아들 솔로몬에게 정성된 마음을 주사 주의 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 모든 일을 행하게 하시고 내가 위하여 예비한 것으로 전을 건축하게 하옵소서
20 And Davidsaid to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregationblessed the LORDGod of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.[x]MKJV: And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God! And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed and worshiped the LORD, and [bowed] to the king. BBE: And David said to all the people, Now give praise to the Lord your God. And all the people gave praise to the Lord, the God of their fathers, with bent heads worshipping the Lord and the king. KAV: ¶ 다윗이 온 회중에게 이르되, 이제 너희는 {주} 너희 [하나님]을 찬송하라, 하매 온 회중이 {주} 자기 조상들의 [하나님]을 찬송하고 머리를 숙여 절하며 {주} 와 왕에게 경배하였더라.
20 And David said to all the people, Now give praise to the Lord your God. And all the people gave praise to the Lord, the God of their fathers, with bent heads worshipping the Lord and the king.
20 다윗이 온 회중에게 이르되 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와를 송축하라 하매 회중이 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 송축하고 머리를 숙여 여호와와 왕에게 절하고
21 And they sacrificedsacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousandbullocks, a thousandrams, and a thousandlambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:[x]MKJV: And they sacrificed sacrifices to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the next day after that day a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. BBE: And they made offerings to the Lord, and gave burned offerings to the Lord, on the day after, a thousand oxen, a thousand sheep, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and a great wealth of offerings for all Israel. KAV: 그 다음 날 그들이 {주}께 희생물을 드리고 또 {주}께 번제 헌물을 드렸으니 곧 수소 천 마리와 숫양 천 마리와 어린양 천 마리와 또 그것들의 음료 헌물과 온 이스라엘을 위한 풍성한 희생물이더라.
21 And they made offerings to the Lord, and gave burned offerings to the Lord, on the day after, a thousand oxen, a thousand sheep, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and a great wealth of offerings for all Israel.
21 이튿날 여호와께 제사를 드리고 또 번제를 드리니 수송아지가 일천이요 수양이 일천이요 어린 양이 일천이요 또 그 전제라 온 이스라엘을 위하여 풍성한 제물을 드리고
22 And did eat and drinkbefore the LORD on that day with greatgladness. And they made Solomon the son of Davidking the second time, and anointedhim unto the LORDto be the chief governor, and Zadokto bepriest.[x]MKJV: And they ate and drank before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed [him] before the LORD as ruler, and Zadok [to be] as priest. BBE: And with great joy they made a feast before the Lord that day. And they made Solomon, the son of David, king a second time, putting the holy oil on him to make him holy to the Lord as ruler, and on Zadok as priest. KAV: 그 날에 그들이 크게 기뻐하며 {주} 앞에서 먹고 마셨더라. 그들이 다윗의 아들 솔로몬을 한 번 더 왕으로 삼고 그에게 기름을 부어 {주}께 드리며 우두머리 치리자가 되게 하고 사독에게도 기름을 부어 제사장이 되게 하니라.
22 And with great joy they made a feast before the Lord that day. And they made Solomon, the son of David, king a second time, putting the holy oil on him to make him holy to the Lord as ruler, and on Zadok as priest.
22 이 날에 무리가 크게 기뻐하여 여호와 앞에서 먹으며 마셨더라 무리가 다윗의 아들 솔로몬으로 다시 왕을 삼아 기름을 부어 여호와께 돌려 주권자가 되게 하고 사독에게도 기름을 부어 제사장이 되게 하니라
23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israelobeyed him.[x]MKJV: And Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king in place of David his father. And he was blessed, and all Israel obeyed him. BBE: So Solomon was put on the seat of the Lord as king in place of his father David, and everything went well for him; and all Israel was under his authority. KAV: 그때에 솔로몬이 {주}의 왕좌에 앉아 자기 아버지 다윗을 대신하여 왕이 되고 형통하였더라. 온 이스라엘이 그에게 순종하며
23 So Solomon was put on the seat of the Lord as king in place of his father David, and everything went well for him; and all Israel was under his authority.
23 솔로몬이 여호와께서 주신 위에 앉아 부친 다윗을 이어 왕이 되어 형통하니 온 이스라엘이 그 명령을 순종하며
24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of kingDavid, submitted themselvesㆍuntoSolomon the king.[x]MKJV: And all the rulers and the mighty men, and also all the sons of king David submitted themselves to Solomon the king. 25 And the LORDmagnifiedSolomonexceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him suchroyalmajesty as had not been on any kingbefore him in Israel.[x]MKJV: And the LORD made Solomon very great in the sight of all Israel, and placed on him [such] royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel. BBE: And the Lord made Solomon great in the eyes of all Israel, clothing him with glory and honour such as no other king in Israel had had before him. KAV: {주}께서 솔로몬을 온 이스라엘의 눈앞에서 심히 크게 하시고 그 이전의 이스라엘의 어떤 왕에게도 없던 왕의 위엄을 그에게 주셨더라.
25 And the Lord made Solomon great in the eyes of all Israel, clothing him with glory and honour such as no other king in Israel had had before him.
25 여호와께서 솔로몬으로 이스라엘 무리의 목전에 심히 존대케 하시고 또 왕의 위엄을 주사 그 전 이스라엘 모든 왕보다 뛰어나게 하셨더라

27 For forty years he was ruling as king over Israel, seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his sonreigned in his stead.[x]MKJV: And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor. And Solomon his son reigned in his place. BBE: And he came to his end after a long life, full of days and great wealth and honour; and Solomon his son became king in his place. 29 Now all the acts of David, first and last, are recorded in the words of Samuel the seer, and the words of Nathan the prophet, and the words of Gad the seer;
