1 And David got together at Jerusalem all the rulers of Israel, the chiefs of the tribes and the captains of the divisions waiting on the king in turn, and the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds and the controllers of all the goods and property of the king and his sons, with the unsexed servants and the great men of war.
1 다윗이 이스라엘 모든 방백 곧 각 지파의 어른과 체번하여 왕을 섬기는 반장들과 천부장들과 백부장들과 및 왕과 왕자의 산업과 생축의 감독과 환관과 장사와 용사를 예루살렘으로 소집하고
2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstoolof our God, and had made ready for the building:[x]MKJV: And David the king stood up on his feet and said, Hear me, my brothers and my people. I [had] in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building. BBE: Then David the king got up and said, Give ear to me, my brothers and my people; it was my desire to put up a house, a resting-place for the ark of the Lord's agreement, and for the foot-rest of our God; and I had got material ready for the building of it. KAV: 그때에 다윗 왕이 자기 발로 일어서서 이르되, 내 형제들아, 내 백성들아, 내 말을 들으라. 나로 말하건대 내가 {주}의 언약 궤 곧 우리 [하나님]의 발받침을 둘 안식의 집을 건축할 마음이 있어서 건축을 위하여 예비하였으나
2 Then David the king got up and said, Give ear to me, my brothers and my people; it was my desire to put up a house, a resting-place for the ark of the Lord's agreement, and for the foot-rest of our God; and I had got material ready for the building of it.
2 이에 다윗왕이 일어서서 가로되 나의 형제들, 나의 백성들아 내 말을 들으라 나는 여호와의 언약궤 곧 우리 하나님의 발등상을 봉안할 전 건축할 마음이 있어서 건축할 재료를 준비하였으나
3 But Godsaid unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shedblood.[x]MKJV: But God said to me, You shall not build a house for My name, because you [have been] a man of war and have shed blood. BBE: But God said to me, You are not to be the builder of a house for my name, because you are a man of war and have taken life; KAV: [하나님]께서 내게 이르시되, 너는 전사로서 피를 흘렸으므로 내 이름을 위해 집을 건축하지 못하리라, 하셨느니라.
3 But God said to me, You are not to be the builder of a house for my name, because you are a man of war and have taken life;
3 오직 하나님이 내게 이르시되 너는 군인이라 피를 흘렸으니 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하지 못하리라 하셨느니라
4 Howbeit the LORDGod of Israelchose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosenJudahto be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make meking over all Israel:[x]MKJV: But the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For He has chosen Judah to be the ruler, and of the house of Judah the house of my father. And in my father's house He was pleased to make me king over all Israel. BBE: Though the Lord, the God of Israel, took me out of all my father's family, to be king over Israel for ever, marking out Judah to be chief, and, of the people of Judah, my father's family; and among the sons of my father he was pleased to make me king over all Israel; KAV: 그러나 {주} 이스라엘의 [하나님]께서 전에 내 아버지의 온 집 앞에서 나를 택하사 영원토록 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕이 되게 하셨나니 그분께서 유다를 택하사 치리자로 삼으시고 유다의 집에서 내 아버지 집을 택하시며 내 아버지의 아들들 중에서 나를 좋아하사 온 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕으로 삼으셨느니라.
4 Though the Lord, the God of Israel, took me out of all my father's family, to be king over Israel for ever, marking out Judah to be chief, and, of the people of Judah, my father's family; and among the sons of my father he was pleased to make me king over all Israel;
4 그러나 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 전에 나를 내 부친의 온 집에서 택하여 영원히 이스라엘 왕이 되게 하셨나니 곧 하나님이 유다 지파를 택하사 머리를 삼으시고 유다의 족속에서 내 부친의 집을 택하시고 내 부친의 아들들 중에서 나를 기뻐하사 온 이스라엘의 왕을 삼으셨느니라
5 And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me manysons,) he hath chosenSolomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.[x]MKJV: And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons), He has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. BBE: And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me a great number of sons) he has made selection of Solomon to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. KAV: ({주}께서 내게 여러 아들을 주시고) 내 모든 아들 중에서 내 아들 솔로몬을 택하사 {주}의 왕국의 왕좌에 앉혀 이스라엘을 다스리게 하시며
5 And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me a great number of sons) he has made selection of Solomon to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
5 여호와께서 내게 여러 아들을 주시고 그 모든 아들 중에서 내 아들 솔로몬을 택하사 여호와의 나라 위에 앉혀 이스라엘을 다스리게 하려 하실쌔
6 And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.[x]MKJV: And He said to me, Solomon your son shall build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him [to be] My son, and I will be his Father. BBE: And he said to me, Solomon your son will be the builder of my house and the open spaces round it; for I have taken him to be my son, and I will be his father. KAV: 내게 이르시기를, 네 아들 솔로몬 그가 내 집과 내 뜰들을 건축하리니 이는 내가 그를 택하여 내 아들로 삼았은즉 내가 그의 아버지가 될 것이기 때문이라.
6 And he said to me, Solomon your son will be the builder of my house and the open spaces round it; for I have taken him to be my son, and I will be his father.
6 내게 이르시기를 네 아들 솔로몬 그가 내 전을 건축하고 내 여러 뜰을 만들리니 이는 내가 저를 택하여 내 아들을 삼고 나는 그 아비가 될 것임이라
7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.[x]MKJV: And I will establish his kingdom forever if he will always do My commandments and My judgments, as at this day. BBE: I will keep his kingdom in its place for ever, if he is strong at all times to do my orders and keep my rules, as at this day. KAV: 또 그가 만일 이 날과 같이 내 명령과 내 법도를 꾸준히 행하면 내가 그의 왕국을 영원토록 굳게 세우리라, 하셨느니라.
7 I will keep his kingdom in its place for ever, if he is strong at all times to do my orders and keep my rules, as at this day.
7 저가 만일 나의 계명과 규례를 힘써 준행하기를 오늘날과 같이 하면 내가 그 나라를 영원히 견고케 하리라 하셨느니라
8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this goodland, and leave it for an inheritance for your childrenafter you forever.[x]MKJV: And now in the sight of all Israel, the congregation of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God, so that you may possess this good land and leave [it] for an inheritance for your sons after you forever. BBE: So now, before the eyes of all Israel, the people of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, keep and be true to the orders of the Lord your God; so that you may have this good land for yourselves and give it for a heritage to your children after you for ever. KAV: 그러므로 이제 온 이스라엘 곧 {주}의 회중이 보는 데서 또 우리 [하나님]께서 들으시는 데서 {주} 너희 [하나님]의 모든 명령을 지키고 구하라. 그리하면 너희가 이 좋은 땅을 소유하고 너희 뒤에 있을 너희 자손에게 이 땅을 영원토록 상속 재산으로 남기리라.
8 So now, before the eyes of all Israel, the people of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, keep and be true to the orders of the Lord your God; so that you may have this good land for yourselves and give it for a heritage to your children after you for ever.
8 이제 너희는 온 이스라엘 곧 여호와의 회중의 보는데와 우리 하나님의 들으시는데서 너희 하나님 여호와의 모든 계명을 구하여 지키기로 하라 그리하면 너희가 이 아름다운 땅을 누리고 너희 후손에게 끼쳐 영원한 기업이 되게 하리라
9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfectheart and with a willingmind: for the LORDsearcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.[x]MKJV: And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. BBE: And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give you up for ever. KAV: ¶ 내 아들 솔로몬아, 너는 네 아버지의 [하나님]을 알고 완전한 마음과 자원하는 생각으로 그분을 섬길지어다. {주}께서 마음을 다 살피시고 생각으로 상상하는 바를 다 아시나니 네가 만일 그분을 찾으면 만날 것이로되 네가 만일 그분을 버리면 그분께서 너를 영원히 버리시리라.
9 And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give you up for ever.
9 내 아들 솔로몬아 너는 네 아비의 하나님을 알고 온전한 마음과 기쁜 뜻으로 섬길찌어다 여호와께서는 뭇 마음을 감찰하사 모든 사상을 아시나니 네가 저를 찾으면 만날 것이요 버리면 저가 너를 영원히 버리시리라
10 Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and doit.[x]MKJV: Take heed now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do [it]. BBE: Now then, take note; for the Lord has made selection of you to be the builder of a house for the holy place. Be strong and do it. KAV: 그런즉 이제 조심할지어다. {주}께서 너를 택하여 성소의 집을 건축하게 하셨나니 마음을 강하게 하고 그 일을 행할지니라, 하니라.
10 Now then, take note; for the Lord has made selection of you to be the builder of a house for the holy place. Be strong and do it.
11 Then Davidgave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the innerparlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,[x]MKJV: And David gave to his son Solomon the pattern of the porch, and of its houses, and of its treasuries, and of its upper rooms, and of its innermost rooms, and of the place of the mercy-seat, BBE: Then David gave to his son Solomon the design of the doorway of the house of God and of its houses and its store-houses, and the higher rooms and the inner rooms and the place for the mercy-seat; KAV: ¶ 그때에 다윗이 주랑과 거기의 집들과 보고와 다락방과 내부 거실들과 긍휼의 자리를 놓을 곳의 양식을 자기 아들 솔로몬에게 주고
11 Then David gave to his son Solomon the design of the doorway of the house of God and of its houses and its store-houses, and the higher rooms and the inner rooms and the place for the mercy-seat;
11 다윗이 전의 낭실과 그 집들과 그 곳간과 다락과 골방과 속죄소의 식양을 그 아들 솔로몬에게 주고
12 And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:[x]MKJV: and the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the rooms all around the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the holy things; BBE: And the design of all he had in his heart for the outer squares of the house of the Lord, and for the rooms all round it, and for the store-houses of the house of the Lord, and for the store-houses for the holy things; KAV: 또 자기가 영으로 받은 모든 것의 양식 곧 {주}의 집의 뜰과 사면의 모든 방과 [하나님]의 집의 보고와 봉헌한 물건들을 두는 보고의 양식을 주며
12 And the design of all he had in his heart for the outer squares of the house of the Lord, and for the rooms all round it, and for the store-houses of the house of the Lord, and for the store-houses for the holy things;
12 또 성신의 가르치신 모든 식양 곧 여호와의 전의 뜰과 사면의 모든 방과 하나님의 전 곳간과 성물 곳간의 식양을 주고
13 Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD; BBE: And for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work in connection with the worship of the house of the Lord, and all the vessels used in the house of the Lord; KAV: 또 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 계열들과 {주}의 집에서 섬기는 모든 일과 {주}의 집에서 섬기는 데 쓰는 모든 그릇에 대하여 말하고
13 And for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work in connection with the worship of the house of the Lord, and all the vessels used in the house of the Lord;
13 또 제사장과 레위 사람의 반열과 여호와의 전에 섬기는 모든 일과 섬기는데 쓰는 모든 그릇의 식양을 설명하고
14He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:[x]MKJV: even gold by weight for [things] of gold, for all instruments of every kind of service; silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for all vessels every kind of service; BBE: Of gold, by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of different uses; and silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for vessels of different uses; KAV: 또 온갖 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 기구들 곧 금으로 된 물건들을 위하여 금을 무게대로 주며 또 온갖 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 기구들 곧 모든 은 기구들을 위하여 은도 무게대로 주었으니
14 Of gold, by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of different uses; and silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for vessels of different uses;
14 또 모든 섬기는데 쓰는 금기명을 만들 금의 중량과 모든 섬기는데 쓰는 은기명을 만들 은의 중량을 정하고
15 Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.[x]MKJV: and by weight for the lampstands of gold, and for their lamps of gold, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps. And he gave for the lampstands of silver by weight, for the lampstand and for its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand; BBE: And gold by weight for the light-supports and the vessels for the lights, the weight of gold needed for every support and every vessel for lights; and for the silver light-supports, the weight of silver needed for every support and for the different vessels as every one was to be used; KAV: 곧 금 등잔대들과 금으로 된 그것들의 등잔들 즉 각 등잔대와 그것의 등잔들을 만들 금을 무게대로 주고 또 은 등잔대들 즉 그 등잔대와 그것의 등잔들을 만들 은을 각 등잔대 용도에 따라 무게대로 주었더라.
15 And gold by weight for the light-supports and the vessels for the lights, the weight of gold needed for every support and every vessel for lights; and for the silver light-supports, the weight of silver needed for every support and for the different vessels as every one was to be used;
15 또 금등대들과 그 등잔 곧 각 등대와 그 등잔을 만들 금의 중량과 은등대와 그 등잔을 만들 은의 중량을 각기 적당하게 하고
16 And by weighthe gavegold for the tables of showbread, for every table; and likewisesilver for the tables of silver:[x]MKJV: and by weight gold for the tables of the showbread, for every table; silver for the tables of silver; BBE: And gold by weight for the tables for the holy bread for every table, and silver for the silver tables; KAV: 또 그가 보여 주는 빵의 상들을 만들 금을 무게대로 주되 각 상을 위하여 그리하고 또 은으로 된 상들을 만들 은도 그리하였으며
16 And gold by weight for the tables for the holy bread for every table, and silver for the silver tables;
16 또 진설병의 각 상을 만들 금의 중량을 정하고 은상을 만들 은도 그렇게 하고
17 Also puregold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the goldenbasinshe gave gold by weight for every basin; and likewise silver by weight for every basin of silver:[x]MKJV: and pure gold for the flesh-hooks, and the bowls, and the cups; and for the golden basins by weight for each basin, and by weight for each basin of silver; BBE: Clear gold for the meat-hooks and the basins and the cups; for the gold basins, gold enough by weight for every basin; and silver by weight for every silver basin; KAV: 또한 고기 갈고리들과 대접들과 잔들을 만들 순금과 금 대야 곧 각 대야를 만들 금도 무게대로 주고 또 각 은 대야를 만들 은을 무게대로 주었더라.
17 Clear gold for the meat-hooks and the basins and the cups; for the gold basins, gold enough by weight for every basin; and silver by weight for every silver basin;
17 고기 갈고리와 대접과 종자를 만들 정금과 금잔 곧 각 잔을 만들 금의 중량과 또 은잔 곧 각 잔을 만들 은의 중량을 정하고
18 And for the altar of incenserefinedgold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread outtheir wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.[x]MKJV: and the altar of incense refined gold by weight, and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubs, who spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD. BBE: And the best gold for the altar of perfumes; and gold for the design of the carriage, for the winged ones whose wings were outstretched covering the ark of the Lord's agreement. KAV: 또 그가 분향 제단에 쓸 정화된 금을 무게대로 주고 그룹들의 수레의 양식대로 만들 금을 주었는데 이 그룹들은 자기 날개들을 펴서 {주}의 언약 궤를 덮었더라.
18 And the best gold for the altar of perfumes; and gold for the design of the carriage, for the winged ones whose wings were outstretched covering the ark of the Lord's agreement.
18 또 향단에 쓸 정금과 또 타시는 처소된 그룹들의 식양대로 만들 금의 중량을 정하여 주니 이 그룹들은 날개를 펴서 여호와의 언약궤를 덮는 것이더라
19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by hishand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.[x]MKJV: All [was] in writing from the hand of the LORD. He made me understand all the work of this pattern. BBE: All this, said David, the design for all these things, has been made dear to me in writing by the hand of the Lord. KAV: 다윗이 이르되, {주}께서 자신의 손을 내 위에 얹으사 기록해 주심으로써 나로 하여금 이 모든 것 즉 이 양식을 따른 모든 일을 깨닫게 하셨느니라.
19 All this, said David, the design for all these things, has been made dear to me in writing by the hand of the Lord.
19 다윗이 가로되 이 위의 모든 것의 식양을 여호와의 손이 내게 임하여 그려 나로 알게 하셨느니라
20 And Davidsaid to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and doit:fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORDGod, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do [it]. Do not fear, nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, [will be] with you. He will not fail you nor leave you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. BBE: And David said to his son Solomon, Be strong and of a good heart and do your work; have no fear and do not be troubled, for the Lord God, my God, is with you; he will not give you up, and his face will not be turned away from you, till all the work necessary for the house of the Lord is complete. KAV: 또 다윗이 자기 아들 솔로몬에게 이르되, 마음을 강하게 하고 크게 용기를 내어 이 일을 행하고 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말라. 네가 {주}의 집에서 섬기기 위한 모든 일을 마치기까지 {주} [하나님] 곧 나의 [하나님]께서 너와 함께하사 너를 떠나지 아니하시고 너를 버리지 아니하시리라.
20 And David said to his son Solomon, Be strong and of a good heart and do your work; have no fear and do not be troubled, for the Lord God, my God, is with you; he will not give you up, and his face will not be turned away from you, till all the work necessary for the house of the Lord is complete.
20 또 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르되 너는 강하고 담대하게 이 일을 행하고 두려워 말며 놀라지 말라 네가 여호와의 전 역사의 모든 일을 마칠 동안에 여호와 하나님 나의 하나님이 너와 함께하사 네게서 떠나지 아니하시고 너를 버리지 아니하시리라
21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the peoplewill be wholly at thy commandment.[x]MKJV: And, behold, the divisions of the priests and the Levites are for all the service of the house of God. And [there shall be] with you every willing, skillful man for every kind of workmanship, for any kind of service. Also the rulers and all the people will be according to all your words. BBE: And see, there are the divisions of the priests and Levites for all the work of the house of God; and every trained and expert workman will be ready to do for you whatever is needed; and the captains and the people will be under your orders in everything. KAV: 보라, 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 계열들이 있으니 그들이 [하나님]의 집의 온갖 섬기는 일을 위하여 너와 함께할 것이요, 또 온갖 세공품을 만들고 모든 섬기는 일을 하기 위하여 솜씨 좋은 모든 사람이 자원하는 마음으로 너와 함께할 것이며 또한 통치자들과 온 백성이 전적으로 네 명령에 따르리라.
21 And see, there are the divisions of the priests and Levites for all the work of the house of God; and every trained and expert workman will be ready to do for you whatever is needed; and the captains and the people will be under your orders in everything.
21 제사장과 레위 사람의 반열이 있으니 여호와의 전의 모든 역사를 도울 것이요 또 모든 공역에 공교한 공장이 기쁜 마음으로 너와 함께 할것이요 또 모든 장관과 백성이 온전히 네 명령 아래 있으리라
