4 And there were morechiefmenfound of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. 4 And there were more chiefs among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar; and this is how they were grouped: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, all heads of families; and of the sons of Ithamar, heads of families, there were eight.

5 So they were put into groups, by the Lord's decision, one with another; for there were rulers of the holy place and rulers of the house of God among the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.

6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: oneprincipalhousehold being taken for Eleazar, and onetaken for Ithamar.[x]MKJV: And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the rulers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and [before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites. 31 이 여러 사람도 다윗왕과 사독과 아히멜렉과 및 제사장과 레위 족장 앞에서 그 형제 아론 자손처럼 제비 뽑혔으니 장자의 종가와 그 아우의 종가가 다름이 없더라
