BBE: Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for Israel's burned offerings. KAV: 그때에 다윗이 이르되, 이것은 {주} [하나님]의 집이요, 이것은 이스라엘을 위한 번제 헌물 제단이라, 하였더라.
1 Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for Israel's burned offerings.
1 다윗이 가로되 이는 여호와 하나님의 전이요 이는 이스라엘의 번제단이라 하였더라
2 And Davidcommanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he setmasons to hewwroughtstones to build the house of God.[x]MKJV: And David commanded the strangers in the land of Israel to be gathered. And he set masons to cut squared stones to build the house of God. BBE: And David gave orders to get together all the men from strange lands who were in the land of Israel; and he put stone-cutters to work, cutting stones for building the house of God. KAV: 다윗이 명령하여 이스라엘 땅에 있던 타국인들을 함께 모으고 또 석공들을 시켜 [하나님]의 집을 건축하기 위해 다듬은 돌들을 깎게 하며
2 And David gave orders to get together all the men from strange lands who were in the land of Israel; and he put stone-cutters to work, cutting stones for building the house of God.
2 다윗이 명하여 이스라엘 땅에 우거하는 이방 사람을 모으고 석수를 시켜 하나님의 전을 건축할 돌을 다듬게 하고
3 And Davidpreparediron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;[x]MKJV: And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the couplings, and bronze in abundance without weight, BBE: And he got together a great store of iron, for the nails for the doors and for the joins; and brass, more in weight than might be measured; KAV: 다윗이 또 바깥문의 문들에 쓸 못과 이음쇠로 쓸 쇠를 풍족히 예비하고 또 무게를 달 수 없을 정도로 많은 놋을 예비하며
3 And he got together a great store of iron, for the nails for the doors and for the joins; and brass, more in weight than might be measured;
3 다윗이 또 문짝못과 거멀못에 쓸 철을 한 없이 준비하고 또 심히 많아서 중수를 셀 수 없는 놋을 준비하고
4 Also cedartrees in abundanceㆍ: for the Zidonians and they of Tyrebroughtmuchcedarwood to David.[x]MKJV: and also cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and the Tyrians brought in cedar trees in abundance to David. BBE: And cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the men of Tyre came with a great amount of cedar-trees for David. KAV: 또 백향목을 풍족히 예비하였으니 시돈 사람들과 두로 사람들이 백향목을 다윗에게로 많이 가져왔더라.
4 And cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the men of Tyre came with a great amount of cedar-trees for David.
4 또 백향목을 무수히 준비하였으니 이는 시돈 사람과 두로 사람이 백향목을 다윗에게로 많이 수운하여 왔음이라
5 And Davidsaid, Solomon my sonisyoung and tender, and the housethat is to be builded for the LORDmust beexceedingmagnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So Davidpreparedabundantlybefore his death.[x]MKJV: And David said, Solomon my son [is] young and tender, and the house to be built for the LORD is to be highly magnificent, for a name and for beauty to all the lands. I will now prepare for it. And David prepared abundantly before his death. BBE: And David said, Solomon my son is young and untested, and the house which is to be put up for the Lord is to be very great, a thing of wonder and glory through all countries; so I will make ready what is needed for it. So David got ready a great store of material before his death. KAV: 다윗이 이르되, 내 아들 솔로몬은 어리고 연약한데 {주}를 위해 건축할 집은 반드시 극히 장엄하고 만국에 두루 명성과 영광이 있어야 하리니 그러므로 내가 이제 그 집을 위해 예비하리라, 하고 죽기 전에 이처럼 풍족하게 예비하였더라.
5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and untested, and the house which is to be put up for the Lord is to be very great, a thing of wonder and glory through all countries; so I will make ready what is needed for it. So David got ready a great store of material before his death.
5 다윗이 가로되 내 아들 솔로몬이 어리고 연약하고 여호와를 위하여 건축할 전은 극히 장려하여 만국에 명성과 영광이 있게 하여야 할찌라 그러므로 내가 이제 위하여 준비하리라 하고 죽기 전에 많이 준비하였더라
6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORDGod of Israel.[x]MKJV: And he called for Solomon his son, and commanded him to build a house for the LORD God of Israel. BBE: Then he sent for his son Solomon, and gave him orders for the building of a house for the Lord, the God of Israel. KAV: ¶ 그때에 다윗이 자기 아들 솔로몬을 불러 {주} 이스라엘의 [하나님]을 위해 집을 건축할 것을 그에게 명하고
6 Then he sent for his son Solomon, and gave him orders for the building of a house for the Lord, the God of Israel.
6 다윗이 그 아들 솔로몬을 불러 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 위하여 전을 건축하기를 부탁하여
7 And Davidsaid to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:[x]MKJV: And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house to the name of the LORD my God. BBE: And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God. KAV: 솔로몬에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 나로 말하건대 {주} 내 [하나님]의 이름을 위해 집을 건축하려는 생각이 내게 있었으나
7 And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God.
7 이르되 내 아들아 나는 내 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할 마음이 있었으나
8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shedbloodabundantly, and hast madegreatwars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shedmuchblood upon the earth in my sight.[x]MKJV: But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, You have shed much blood and have made great wars. You shall not build a house to My name because you have shed much blood on the earth in My sight. BBE: But the word of the Lord came to me saying, You have taken lives without number and made great wars; I will not let you be the builder of a house for my name, because of the lives you have taken on the earth before my eyes. KAV: {주}의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되, 너는 피를 심히 많이 흘렸고 큰 싸움을 많이 하였느니라. 네가 내 눈앞에서 땅에 피를 많이 흘렸은즉 내 이름을 위해 집을 건축하지 못하리라.
8 But the word of the Lord came to me saying, You have taken lives without number and made great wars; I will not let you be the builder of a house for my name, because of the lives you have taken on the earth before my eyes.
8 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되 너는 피를 심히 많이 흘렸고 크게 전쟁하였느니라 네가 내 앞에서 땅에 피를 많이 흘렸은즉 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하지 못하리라
9 Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will givepeace and quietness unto Israel in his days.[x]MKJV: Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. And I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. For his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. BBE: But you will have a son who will be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from wars on every side. His name will be Solomon, and in his time I will give Israel peace and quiet; KAV: 보라, 네게 한 아들이 태어나리니 그는 안식의 사람이 되리라. 내가 사방에 있는 그의 모든 원수들로부터 그가 안식을 누리게 하리라. 그의 이름이 솔로몬이 되리니 내가 그의 날들에 화평과 안정을 이스라엘에게 주리라.
9 But you will have a son who will be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from wars on every side. His name will be Solomon, and in his time I will give Israel peace and quiet;
9 한 아들이 네게서 나리니 저는 평강의 사람이라 내가 저로 사면 모든 대적에게서 평강하게 하리라 그 이름을 솔로몬이라 하리니 이는 내가 저의 생전에 평안과 안정을 이스라엘에게 줄 것임이니라
10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israelforever.[x]MKJV: He shall build a house for My name. And he shall be My son, and I [will be] his Father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. BBE: He will be the builder of a house for my name; he will be to me a son, and I will be to him a father; and I will make the seat of his rule over Israel certain for ever. KAV: 그가 내 이름을 위해 집을 건축하리라. 그는 내 아들이 되고 나는 그의 아버지가 되어 그의 왕국의 왕좌를 영원토록 이스라엘 위에 굳게 세우리라, 하셨느니라.
10 He will be the builder of a house for my name; he will be to me a son, and I will be to him a father; and I will make the seat of his rule over Israel certain for ever.
10 저가 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할찌라 저는 내 아들이 되고 나는 저의 아비가 되어 그 나라 위를 이스라엘 위에 굳게 세워 영원까지 이르게 하리라 하셨나니
11 Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.[x]MKJV: Now, my son, may the LORD be with you and bless you, and build the house of the LORD your God as He has said of you. BBE: Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house of the Lord your God, as he has said of you. KAV: 이제 내 아들아, {주}께서 너와 함께 계시기를 원하노니 너는 형통하여 그분께서 너에 관해 말씀하신 대로 {주} 네 [하나님]의 집을 건축하라.
11 Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house of the Lord your God, as he has said of you.
11 내 아들아 여호와께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하며 네가 형통하여 여호와께서 네게 대하여 말씀하신대로 여호와의 전을 건축하며
12 Only the LORDgive thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.[x]MKJV: Only may the LORD give you wisdom and understanding, and direct you concerning Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God. BBE: Only may the Lord give you wisdom, and knowledge of his orders for Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God. KAV: 오직 {주}께서 네게 지혜와 명철을 주시고 이스라엘의 책무를 주사 네가 {주} 네 [하나님]의 율법을 지키게 하시기를 원하노라.
12 Only may the Lord give you wisdom, and knowledge of his orders for Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORDchargedMoses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.[x]MKJV: Then you shall prosper, if you take heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments with which the LORD charged Moses, concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage. Do not fear, nor be dismayed. BBE: And all will go well for you, if you take care to keep the laws and the rules which the Lord gave to Moses for Israel: be strong and take heart; have no fear and do not be troubled. KAV: 그때에 네가 만일 {주}께서 이스라엘에 관하여 모세에게 명하신 법규와 법도를 이루려고 주의를 기울이면 형통하리니 마음을 강하게 하고 크게 용기를 내어 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말지어다.
13 And all will go well for you, if you take care to keep the laws and the rules which the Lord gave to Moses for Israel: be strong and take heart; have no fear and do not be troubled.
13 네가 만일 여호와께서 모세로 이스라엘에게 명하신 모든 율례와 규례를 삼가 행하면 형통하리니 강하고 담대하여 두려워 말고 놀라지 말찌어다
14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundredthousandtalents of gold, and a thousandthousandtalents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.[x]MKJV: And, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD a hundred thousand talents of gold, and a million talents of silver, and of bronze and iron without weight, for it is in abundance. I have prepared timber also, and stone, and you may add to them. BBE: Now see, poor though I am, I have got ready for the house of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold and a million talents of silver; and a weight of brass and iron greater than may be measured; and wood and stone have I made ready, and you may put more to it. KAV: 이제, 보라, 내가 고난 중에 {주}의 집을 위해 금 십만 달란트와 은 백만 달란트를 예비하고 또 놋과 쇠는 풍족하여 무게를 달 수 없을 만큼 예비하였으며 또 재목과 돌들을 예비하였으니 너는 거기에 더할지니라.
14 Now see, poor though I am, I have got ready for the house of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold and a million talents of silver; and a weight of brass and iron greater than may be measured; and wood and stone have I made ready, and you may put more to it.
14 내가 환난 중에 여호와의 전을 위하여 금 십만 달란트와 은 일백만 달란트와 놋과 철을 그 중수를 셀 수 없을만큼 심히 많이 예비하였고 또 재목과 돌을 예비하였으나 너는 더할 것이며
15 Moreover there areworkmenㆍ with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.[x]MKJV: And there [are] many workmen with you, cutters and workers of stone and timber, and all kinds of skillful men for every kind of work. BBE: And you have a great number of workmen, cutters and workers of stone and wood, and experts in every sort of work, KAV: 또 일하는 자가 네게 많이 있나니 곧 돌과 재목을 다듬는 자들과 그것으로 일하는 자들과 온갖 일에 재주가 있는 모든 종류의 사람들이니라.
15 And you have a great number of workmen, cutters and workers of stone and wood, and experts in every sort of work,
15 또 공장이 네게 많이 있나니 곧 석수와 목수와 온갖 일에 익숙한 모든 사람이니라
16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arisetherefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.[x]MKJV: Of the gold, the silver, and the bronze, and the iron, there is no number. Arise and be doing, and may the LORD be with you. BBE: In gold and silver and brass and iron more than may be numbered. Up! then, and to work; and may the Lord be with you. KAV: 금과 은과 놋과 쇠가 수도 없이 많으니 그러므로 일어나 일을 하라. {주}께서 너와 함께 계시기를 원하노라, 하니라.

17David also commanded all the princes of Israel to helpSolomon his son, saying,[x]MKJV: And David commanded all the rulers of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying, BBE: Then David gave orders to all the chiefs of Israel to give their help to Solomon his son, saying, KAV: ¶ 다윗이 또한 이스라엘의 모든 통치자들에게 명령하여 자기 아들 솔로몬을 돕게 하며 이르되,

17 다윗이 또 이스라엘 모든 방백에게 명하여 그 아들 솔로몬을 도우라 하여 가로되
18Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subduedbefore the LORD, and before his people.[x]MKJV: Is not the LORD your God with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the people of the land into my hand. And the land is humbled before the LORD and before His people. BBE: Is not the Lord your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side? for the Lord has given the people of the land into my hands, and the land is overcome before the Lord and before his people. KAV: {주} 너희 [하나님]께서 너희와 함께 계시지 아니하냐? 그분께서 사방에서 너희에게 안식을 주지 아니하셨느냐? 그분께서 그 땅의 거주민들을 내 손에 넘겨주셨나니 그 땅이 {주} 와 그분의 백성 앞에서 정복되었느니라.
18 Is not the Lord your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side? for the Lord has given the people of the land into my hands, and the land is overcome before the Lord and before his people.
18 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희와 함께 하지 아니하시느냐 사면으로 너희에게 평강을 주지 아니하셨느냐 이 땅 거민을 내 손에 붙이사 이 땅으로 여호와와 그 백성 앞에 복종하게 하셨나니
19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORDGod, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holyvessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.[x]MKJV: Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. Arise therefore and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD. BBE: Now give your heart and soul to the worship of the Lord your God; and get to work on the building of the holy place of the Lord God, so that you may put the ark of the Lord's agreement and the holy vessels of God in the house which is to be made for the name of the Lord. KAV: 이제 너희 마음과 혼을 고정하여 {주} 너희 [하나님]을 구하라. 너희는 이런 까닭에 일어나서 {주} [하나님]의 성소를 건축하고 {주}의 언약 궤와 [하나님]의 거룩한 기구들을 가져다가 {주}의 이름을 위하여 건축할 집에 들여 놓을지니라, 하였더라.
19 Now give your heart and soul to the worship of the Lord your God; and get to work on the building of the holy place of the Lord God, so that you may put the ark of the Lord's agreement and the holy vessels of God in the house which is to be made for the name of the Lord.
19 이제 너희는 마음과 정신을 진정하여 너희 하나님 여호와를 구하고 일어나서 여호와 하나님의 성소를 건축하고 여호와의 언약궤와 하나님의 거룩한 기구를 가져다가 여호와의 이름을 위하여 건축한 전에 드리게 하라 하였더라
